We spent 2 weeks at Locklore Laze last July and found it perfectly suited our needs. The accommodations were clean, well kept and fully equipped with all we needed, and our hosts, Helen and Tim, were extremely friendly and helpful. We were greeted with a lovely note and homemade wine. Helen and Tim gave us some great suggestions for sites and activities in the area. The area is beautiful and quiet, a nice change from heavily touristy areas but close enough to beaches and various sites. If we are ever back on P.E.I., we will definitely revisit Locklore Laze!!

We have just spent a month at Lochlore Laze while we were house hunting on Prince Edward Island. It is a very comfortable, well furnished house with everything you need, including washing machine and dryer. We like to have a bedroom each, and to be able to cook our own meals, so the house was ideal for us. In fact there were three bedrooms, so one to spare!
The house is located in a quiet, tree lined street, only a five minutes walk from the main street of Montague and the scenic Montague River area. Helen and Tim were extremely friendly and welcoming. They welcomed us with a bottle of their extremely delicious homemade sparkling Cranapple wine and a jar of pickles and invited us to join other residents of the very short street for a Thanksgiving dinner at their house. When we needed to change our booking to a timing less convenient for them, our hosts worked around it and all was well. Email contact throughout was very excellent. There was free use of wireless internet and phone for local calls. Absolutely recommended. -

If you want everything, this is the place to stay! Helen and Tim are wonderful hosts,they went out their way to make us feel at home. Locklore Laze lovely, with everything you need, and very conveniently situated. Montague gorgeous, and everyone we met was very friendly and welcoming. Close to fantastic beaches, scenery and hikes (the famous walking trail is a few minutes walk away). Local area has wonderful places to eat and things to see, Charlotte town a short drive away and if you want to hit the 'Anne of Green Gables tourist track' not much further. We will be back to stay for sure!
