Very good. Well-positioned for visiting many interesting places. Villa was in a beautiful setting.
The main room was lovely and the gardens spacious and beautifully kept. A very comfortable house.
Beautiful - we loved being in the midst of vineyards and olive groves, and even the pig farm had a charm to it!! -

We had a great time at the villa. We were two families traveling together and the villa felt spacious and comfortable. There were many seating and dining locations tucked away on the property to enjoy a meal or a drink outside. The children enjoyed the pool immensely. At night it was cool, even in the midst of the hot summer heat of July, which made it easy to sleep even without air conditioning.
For the most part, the villa was quiet and peaceful. There was a sprinkler that went off early each morning that happened to wake some of the kids, but overall it was a serene atmosphere. The villa was secluded, tucked away, giving the experience a very relaxing and peaceful feel. The living and dining areas were charming and the table could fit at least 10 people. There are beautiful views from every window. There was a dishwasher which was a nice surprise.
The property is located near many cities that are interesting to visit like Siena, Florence, Luca, Pisa, Via Reggio, San Gimignano, Volterra and San Vilvaldo.
Make sure to look at the overlook near the Pamex. It is a spectacular view! -

We were extremely pleased with our stay at Podere Bosco Verde I-Colina. It met and even exceeded our expectations, and we thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities of the the villa and our second floor apartment. It also was a great base from which to explore Tuscany. Many thanks to you, Claudia, Christina, and the other folks at the villa for and the other folks for providing such gracious service.

We loved the villa so much we were torn between staying there or touring.
The seclusion. And it was very simple and comfortable--It felt like home.
The seclusion--my rented phone and Garmin did not work most times!
The olive groves. -

It was a fantastic stay at a wonderful villa. The location was perfect. The villa was well equipped and very comfortable.
The location was central and the property was beautiful with peace and quiet. It was also very interesting because there were vineyards and olive groves nearby and up the road on the property were pigs in pens.
There was no clothes dryer, but I guess we Americans are spoiled. Also, we were not told about a few key items. The kitchen has only one light and the switch is situated on the other side of the fireplace a foot off the ground. It took a while to find it.
The property was centrally located for day trips into the wonderful Tuscan villages and towns. -

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the villa immensely.
You felt like you were really out in the country. The setting was quiet, other than the occasional tractor passing by, and it was fun to be staying on a working farm with olive trees, vineyards, pretty white cows and organically raised Tuscan pigs. The apartment was very large and comfortably appointed. The pool was great since we had very hot weather for May. Fortunately, the apartment did not get too hot during the day and cooled off quickly at night. Also, important to note that there was screening in most of the windows, so bugs were not a problem for us.
This did not really matter too much to us, but there is not a town other than San Vivaldo within close walking distance.
The chapels at San Vivaldo, within walking distance, are worth a visit though some are being renovated. San Gimignano is reasonably close as is Volterra - both worth a visit. -

It was just fabulous, and I am telling everyone that I would use Rent Villas again any time. I showed many folks the web site and the photos of our villas before we traveled. I will now show them the comparison. You did a fabulous job, and for the money we paid I feel we got every penny's worth. I would go right back to that same property again. All seven of us agreed that this week in Italy was our favorite of the entire month. Tuscany is worth a vacation. Thank you so very much for making it so easy and for all you did to help before we went. Your printed material was wonderful as well. That book called "Living Like a Local in Italy"was wonderful for all of our family members.
We enjoyed everything about this villa. The space was wonderful. I think my photo I sent of the hallway to the bedrooms and the dining room tells it all. It was like living in a palace. There was everything we needed both in the bathrooms and in the kitchen. We cooked several nice meals which were also photo-worthy and delicious. The grounds were lovely, the pool was big and our grandchildren had a wonderful time with their parents and uncle in that pool. Without it there would not be so much fun for the kids.
We had none!
We enjoyed everything about the villa outside of Montaione, the grounds, the pool and the surrounding area. The location could not have been better for seeing the sights from Florence, about an hour away, to Pisa, less than an hour and Sienna, not more than forty minutes from the house. The Medieval town of San Gimignano was wonderful and we visited two evenings when the tourists were gone. We ate dinner on the street there and it was wonderful. The closest town, Montaione, was also a wonderful town to explore. There were several large grocery stores. We shopped at the PAMEX when we needed things quickly with easy parking and no walking to the car. We used small markets in town otherwise. There were small bars and shops where the people were lovely and wanted to talk and interact with us. I have two photos attached of that. Montaione has an overlook at the end of the main street where you can sit and eat gelato with a beautiful view. We also drove to Livorno and Viareggio to spend one day at the beach and it was beautiful. One hour and twenty minutes and the beach at Viareggio is sandy and full of people. You can rent an umbrella and chairs for however many hours you want to stay along with a changing room. It was fun for all of us. -

The villa was fabulous.
It was far away from the main town.
Beautiful olive and grape vineyards. Close proximity to wonderful medieval towns.
