Description from the owner
This modernized Cape Cod house is a perfect heaven for travelers passing through, or those who come for extended stay. The location is convenient for exploring New York City (just half an hour from Times Square by bus or train) and it is recommended for those who prefer to rest in a beautiful, clean and lushly wooded suburb after an intense day in the city. Montclair has its own assets worth mentioning: Art Museum, art cinema, seven parks designed by Olmstead Bros.and lots of fantastic restaurants and cafes. We welcome children and dogs.

What a wonderful and warm experience, staying at anna's. The house is homey and artistic at the same time. Art is Everywhere, and books as well. You feel like your life has instantly got more interesting, just by hanging out surrounded by the culture.
To add to the experience, Anna is a wonderful cook. Her breakfasts are legendary, as are her soups.
Location for visiting NYC is perfect. You are staying in a small quiet town, no crowds, no noise, no pollution, but the train (bus on weekends) takes you to the city center in about half an hour.
