We are located in a town house community where there is a nice view of the City of Montego Bay and the Caribbean Sea from the entrance to the development .Stove, Microwave, Refrigerator, safe for valuables, Local cell phone* is provided .

GingerFern guest house is located 800 feet above the city of Montego Bay . It is 20 minutes or less ( depending on traffic ) from the major Montego Bay beaches and the “Hip Strip” which runs parallel to the beaches and features, night clubs, casino’s , restaurants, etc. It is less than 5 minutes from a shopping center where you can shop for food, liquor, cigars/cigarettes, medicines, etc.

This family owned cottage is a fabulous hidden secret. Perfect for families or couples. We thoroughly enjoyed or stay there. We were able to go to the local supermarket and have fresh food cooked and prepared for us using traditional Jamaican recipes. The price really cannot be beat! For everything included, there is no way you can find a hotel for that value. It is worth every penny ! I would absolutely stay at Gingerfern Guesthouse the next time I return to Jamaica

My stay at Gingerfern Guest House is what you call a vacation. Starting from the guesthouse staff down to the driver, the services rendered was first class. The itinerary provided by management, and places recommended to visit, let me say, yea man!. The variety of entertainment and the services at these venues was top notch. My stay at Gingerfern Guest House will always be a memorable vacation. I highly recommend Gingerfern Guest House to anyone visiting Jamaica who wants to have a very nice time.

Gingerfern is a lovely, quiet, accessible guest house. With a supermarket bank and restaurants just down the hill and the Hip Strip about 15 minutes away, it is close enough to everything and just far enough to provide serenity. The birds provided a symphony of song in the small back yard that is filled with flowers. If you have a family or a group of friends, this is a great deal. Coming from Canada, fly Westjet and you can't beat the price for Jamaican vacation.
