Inside, the house is a perfect blend of beauty with comfort. The guiding hand of Greatview’s creator and the commitment of its staff are evident in the upscale décor and careful attention to detail. Each of the 5 large bed-and-bath combination suites in the main house has its signature motif and character. Living areas have been thoughtfully designed to meet the varying needs of your party.

The great-room is a combination living/dining-room with a 40-foot ceiling. Huge glass doors can either open the room to cool ocean breezes or protect it from occasional inclement weather while preserving the view. The mezzanine above has a smaller... seating area for more intimate gatherings. The main floor rooms, covered pavilion and two master bedroom suites are wheelchair accessible and designed to accommodate the disabled.

The covered pavilion is the social heart of Greatview. It’s a great place to enjoy the warmth of a Jamaican day with protection from the mid-day sun – drinking in the color, birdsongs and fragrance of the adjoining terraced tropical gardens. For sun-loving guests, the deck over the kitchen offers an opportunity to catch the last of the afternoon rays, while partial covering over the deck accommodates those who prefer shade. Amateur astronomers congregate here on clear nights to watch the stars through Greatview’s telescope.

Most often, guests choose to dine in the covered pavilion around the circular glass table by the outdoor bar. For more formal occasions, Greatview offers an indoor dining table which also accommodates 12 for a sit-down meal.

A wonderful addition to Greatview, a log cabin tree-house for children of all ages, is nestled amongst a Sea Grape and Poor Man's Orchid tree about 5 feet off the ground on the lower Greatview lawn. A winding staircase leads to the spacious living room furnished for tree-house lunches, games and crafts. One step up from the living room is the cozy bedroom furnished for afternoon naps, storytelling and playing pretend. This room can be reached through a secret trap door in the floor, having climbed up the steps imbedded in the adjacent tree.

* Greatview offers membership in Half Moon Resort, a 5 minute drive from the villa. Half Moon provides Greatview guests with unlimited green fees at the golf course, access to tennis, beach and all the offerings of Half Moon Hotel

* Greatview has membership at the Russell Tennis Academy located at the Hilton Hotel about a 10 minute drive from the villa. Guests may play tennis free and signup for any of the daily lessons and clinics with a 20% discount. Transportation to and from the Academy is complimentary

* Greatview has membership at The Cinnamon Hill Golf Club. Villa guests will receive a 50% discount on green fees, cart and caddy

* Massage and beautician services are available at an additional cost

* Suitable for weddings and corporate events

* GREATVIEW KIDS CLUB:

* Complimentary nanny service for 3 hours daily , morning or afternoons, for kids 12 years and under. Greatview's Kids Club is centered around Little View, a one bedroom treehouse/playhouse fully stocked with craft materials, games, puzzles and playhouse items.

* Under the tree house is a sand box, and craft tables and play tents dot the surrounding garden.

* Depending on the children's age and interests, local craftspeople will be brought in for jewelry making, coconut hat weaving and other fun Jamaican crafts. Kids and parents may choose from a fun list of kids activities. Also included but not limited to are wonderful activities such as face painting, cooking classes, Jamaican dance classes, treasure hunts, ping pong contests and much more!

  I wanted to take time to let you know how much we enjoyed spending time at Greatview. It is a phenomenally, amazing villa and I only have good reviews to offer about the accommodations, the staff, and setting and the overall experience. Each member of your staff blew us away.
  
  Morgan was so attentive and was spot on for everything we needed. Aaron is world class and I can see what an invaluable resource he is. Damion with that award winning smile, set the bar when he called to check on us on our way back from Kingston. That's a personal touch that you don't often see and it really went a long way.
  
  Sherri-Ann, Donna, Pamela = amazing. The house tour and room orientations, nice touch! Turn down service, laundry wrapped in the scarf-draped baskets; no words to describe it. I only wished my housekeeper could come to you for training.
  
  Let me not forget about the gardening staff. Ricardo, David and Mark, who kept us in stitches. They were all kind-hearted and free spirited and a pleasure to be around. The hike to Mt. Zion I'm told was informative and inspiring. The ladies were so grateful for the opportunity to spend the morning with Mark and Ricardo and learned so much about the land.
  
  Of course, I saved the best for last. Colin, dear Colin whom I was told came out of his shell while we were around. He was so delightful and we are all still craving his meals. I only regret not having more time to spend some time in the kitchen with him while he was preparing dinner. I have a passion in cooking and would have loved to see him in action.
  
  The house, it speaks for itself and agreed it is indeed a Greatview! It is the epitome of luxury, service and perfection at its grandest scale.
  
  Many, many, many thanks to you and your staff for this wonderful experience. The attention to detail, the organization and sophistication of the process… it simply took my breath away. We all, were thoroughly impressed and have walked away with moments that will last us a lifetime.

  The villa was beautiful and comfortable, the staff was so professional and personal, the food was so special and delicious and the grounds were so lush making our week of vacation the best ever! It was the perfect spot for our family of 16 (children and grandchildren) to be together. The villa offered so much for us all...the children especially enjoyed swimming in the pool and playing in the tree house (a nice feature). It was a week of relaxation for the adults...all we really had to do was be on time for the meals!   Prepare to escape into the vacation of your dreams where your every desires and needs are truly met. We just returned from a 7 night stay at Greatview with 4 other couples (3 of whom have been there before) and had to share this amazing place with the rest of the world. What started as one woman's dream home has turned into the best way to experience Jamaica and its natural beauty and wonderful people.
  
  Upon our arrival, the entire staff greeted us with open arms and we immediately felt the sense of relaxation that we were searching for. While the view steals our attention from the very first moment, its the staff that allows you to never lose focus on the view as they cater to your every need.
  
  The house itself is located within 10 minutes from the Montego Bay airport and is situated high on a cliff overlooking a truly picturesque view of the ocean. The greatroom offers a wonderful gathering area for large groups but offers several individual areas to grab some alone time. Most of our time was spent in the covered outdoor living room as we ate all our meals staring at the ocean and made great use of the bar and sitting area each night. Each bedroom perfectly suited our needs and was spacious enough to accommodate our kids. The TV room, fitness room, several verandas, and outdoor shower offered quiet areas to escape. While the architectural design elements (including the tranquil indoor/outdoor garden walkway) made the house so unique, the personal affects (including family photos) made all of us felt like welcome guests in our new home away from home.
  
  I can go on about the amazing infinity pool, the beautiful gardens, and all the other great touches, but what makes Greatview so great is actually the staff. Aaron leads a team of the nicest and most hospitable people you will ever meet. Ziggy and Morgan kept our drinks flowing and made sure we were always taken care of. Delores kept dazzling us with her culinary talents (while everything was tasty, the authentic Jamaican BBQ on the lawn was really special). We loved Donna and her team as there is nothing better than coming back from lounging at the pool and having your laundry cleaned each day. It was fun hanging with Mark while he tended to the grounds. But a special thank you goes to Christine and Patricia for helping our 14 moth old daughter have the time of her life as mommy and daddy got several opportunities for R&R; all week. If you want to get away but do not want to leave the kids, Greatview is perfect. The authentic treehouse, sunshelf in the pool, and wide array of toys allows everyone of all ages to enjoy their stay.
  
  An added bonus is the connections they have around the island. Make sure to use the local resort beach club they have access to and check out the activities around the island that they can arrange. The White Witch Golf Course with its unbelievable layout and views was very memorable for me but that also could have been because of the double eagle I made.
  
  I could go on and on but I have to go make travel arrangements for my return trip to Greatview. Plus, while I gave you a small glimpse into this amazing place, you simply need to experience it for yourself. Take my advice: Book a week, have them take care of all of your meals, and get ready to enjoy what my wife just called the greatest vacation of our lives.
