At Skylark the terrace and pool enjoy the warm ocean views and breezes. Guests will be pampered by our skilled staff who will cook, clean and make guests feel welcome in a real home away from home environment. Skylark is located on a hill above Half Moon Bay amongst 2 acres of gardens providing privacy and security. Living room and dining room feature high cathedral ceilings with French doors and ceiling fans opening onto the terrace and pool. There are 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. My group and I stayed in the villa and another villa for a week in November 2012. This villa was such a treasure that anytime i think about it I get wistful! It was in a great location, easy to get to the beach! Fabulous views! Wonderful staff! Very comfortable beds, sumptuous accommodations, quirky but tasteful decorations, very clean swimming pool, very secure and absolutely the best!
We were so pampered at this villa that when we could not stay at another villa we were booked into. We spent a night at the new villa and the new day we were fortunate enough to be able to book back into Skylark for the rest of our stay! Such a treasure!
Well looked after by the staff! Well done Howard, Dolores and Sonya! Please if you stay here, do tip the staff! They are worth it and then more! -

Just want to start out by thanking Sonya Howard and Deloris. They couldn't have been any nicer. Really made you feel at home. We recently stayed here for a very low key relaxing bachelor party. The villa is clean and deloris' cooking was excellent. Our second night there the transformer in front of the villa blew and we had no electric. Immediately Sonya was on the phone to have it repaired and it was in just over 12 hours. i am a big guy and was a little leery about the a/C but i actually had to wake up in the middle of the night to turn the a/C down as did everyone else in the house. there is a friendly dog on site they keep him chained up most of the time. We asked for him to not be on the chain he was def on the skinny side and we bought him a bag of dog food. i would absolutely recommend this villa. Its was my first time renting a villa and not staying in a resort and was pleasantly surprised.
