Greatview is one of the newest and most luxurious of the Montego Bay, Spring Farm villas overlooking the Half Moon Bay golf course and the Caribbean Sea. It is immediately apparent why the owners chose this name for their villa. From the colorful blue hues of the Caribbean Sea to the green mountains beyond, the scenery is truly spectacular.
The interior spaces are a perfect combination of taste, beauty and comfort. French limestone and exotic bamboo floors, Barbados coral stonewalls, Venetian glazed walls are all part of the exceptional attention to detail. The furnishings are an exquisite combination of Asian antique and tropical colon...ial.
Dining may be enjoyed formally under the crystal chandelier on the long mahogany table in the Great Room with table service of Wedgwood and Lenox china as well as sterling silver. Alternatively, meals may be enjoyed alfresco on the 700 square foot verandah overlooking the swimming pool and magnificent ocean view.
Greatview has 6 uniquely furnished air-conditioned bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms.
The Main House of Greatview is built on three levels. The Cottage and optional 7th bedroom are privately located, each under separate roof. All of the bedrooms are exquisitely decorated and adjoin en-suite Travertine marble bathrooms. Smoking is not permitted in the bedrooms, but several open-air areas are available. All bathrooms offer hairdryers, shampoo, conditioner and glycerin soaps. All bedrooms feature closet safes, remote control air conditioners, cable television and well-planned louvers for wonderful cross-breezes.
The Plantation Green Room - is decorated in authentic Jamaican plantation-style, with four-poster king bed, spacious sitting area with chaise lounge, L-shaped sofa and built-in entertainment unit and bar refrigerator. The large bathroom features a dressing table, sitting area, Jacuzzi tub, an indoor walk-in steam shower and outdoor shower among flowering vines. Enjoy the spectacular view of the Caribbean from your private balcony. The Orchid Room - has two queen-size rattan beds, a 19th century walnut armoire and an English faux-bamboo antique desk. The large bathroom with its Jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower and dressing area has direct access to the spa and the outdoor Swedish and drench showers. The orchid theme is reflected in the fabrics in the room, as well as the vases of freshly cut orchids.
The Burmese Room - is named for its Burmese and Chinese furnishings highlighted by a queen-size four-poster bed, an exquisite red lacquered desk and antique Chinese wedding chair, and handsomely complemented by the owner's collection of Asian art. The magnificent wrap-around balcony offers breathtaking views of both sea and mountains: a small patio also offers views of the mountains beyond. The deep soaking tub in the bathroom is the perfect place to relax and take in the scenery.
The Frog Room - receives its name from the whimsical use of the frog theme in the decorations and appointments. In addition to the cheerful frog-theme fabrics decorating the bedspreads and pillows, the loveable frogs find their way to furniture hardware in the room. The room has a king-size bed, balcony, and en-suite bathroom with a deep soaking tub/shower combination, and is done in cheerful greens, oranges and yellows.
The Palm Room - next to the Frog Room, and a mirror image of it, carries the palm theme in its fabrics and the hand-painted armoire and dressers. The greens, reds and yellows give this room a bright and sunny feel. The room has a king-size bed, balcony, and en-suite bathroom with a deep soaking tub/shower combination.
The Cottage is the perfect hideaway for two and is located 33 steps from the villa's main level or a shorter 14 steps from the lower lawn. The Cottage provides a 6th bedroom and is available for rent only when all 5 bedrooms in the main house are being used by the same family/group. It consists of a fully equipped kitchenette, cozy living room, 27' TV, DVD player, air-conditioning and intercom to the main house. The bedding may be either a king or twin sized. The cottage, also, has an en-suite bathroom complete with Jacuzzi and shower. Stunning ocean views may be enjoyed from the private balcony furnished with rocking chairs, chaises and al fresco dining area for eye-opener coffee, breakfasts or afternoon cocktails. The Cottage is served by same staff as other five bedrooms in main house, including room service.
Located a bit further downhill from the Main House and the Cottage, there is the optional 7th bedroom in a very private apartment. The 7th bedroom has a private pool, king sized bed, en-suite bathroom with walk in shower as well as a kitchenette complete with coffee maker, toaster oven and microwave. Available for additional rate only on request and when the other six bedrooms are booked by same party. Please inquire with our office for the 7th bedroom rates.
Built on three levels, the bedrooms are all exquisitely appointed and feature cable and satellite TV and closet safes.
Please note that smoking is not permitted in the bedrooms but there are numerous open-air areas available.
Greatview has a large free form, heated swimming pool with a teak deck for sunning and relaxing. The infinity edge pool overflows as a large waterfall into a lower pool with hot tub spa. The poolside pavilion, also, has a well equipped bar and television.
The villa boasts an air-conditioned and well-equipped private gym with treadmill, stair master, recumbent bicycle, weights, exercise balls and mats as well as a TV.
Greatview,also, boasts a spa and steam room, rainfall shower and stone massage. A spa technician is on call 9 AM till 9 PM.
Greatview is extremely child friendly and is well equipped with two complementary cribs, pack & play, two high chairs, booster seats, a stroller, baby toys, water and beach toys, pool basketball, two bicycles and even a motorized children's car. Additionally, the villa boasts it's own Greatview Kid's Club which consists of Little View which is a one bedroom tree and play house that is well equipped with craft materials, games and puzzels. Under the tree house, there is a sand box, craft tables and play tents. A complementary nanny for up to 2 children under the age of 3 years of age or complementary Kids Club at Little View for up to 4 children ages 3-12 years of age for 3 hours per day.
Greatview includes complementary tennis privileges at two neighboring courts.
Included in the rental rate for the villa is a complementary full time driver and private air-conditioned van. The beach is just a short drive away.
Greatview is exceptionally staffed with 2 butlers, a chef, housekeepers, gardener and laundress and includes 24 hour concierge service.
Greatview now has membership at the Russell Tennis Academy located at the Hilton Hotel about a 10 minute drive from the villa. Guests may play tennis free and signup for any of the daily lessons and clinics with a 20% discount. Transportation to and from the Academy is complimentary.

In addition to a pool table, foosball table, table hockey, ping pong and a 60 game arcade table, Greatview now adds a Nintendo Wii U gaming console and free Apple TV.
Absolutely great experience with Villas Caribe! They blew us away by making sure every detail was taken care of from arranging a driver to pre-stocking the villa with food and drinks and forwarding our menu preferences to the private chef at Greatview. The chef will absolutely spoil you with thier culinary talents, not to worry though, there is a gym and steam room at your disposal and butlers Ricardo and Alrick will be more than happy to help you work off the extra pounds with a trek up to Mt. Zion. Greatview is definitely a place to stay with plenty of room yet very private, you can enjoy your time there in your own private pool or hot tub. Head butler Aaron is on hand to make sure your stay is as stress-free as possible. We can\'t say enough about Aaron\'s professionalism - the moment we arrived at the entrance, Aaron was there to greet us with cocktails in hand! No need to worry about laundry, the staff is there to make sure your sure your clothes will be waiting for you cleaned and pressed each morning. With such a great experience, we\'ll definitely be visiting GreatView again and we\'ll be making our reservation through Villas Caribe!
Words cannot describe how pleased we were with our trip. The villa was even more stunning in person! We particularly enjoyed getting to know the staff - they were all so accommodating and relaxed. Our kids are already asking when we will be returning. I have a few pounds to lose after eating three complete meals a day, starting today! This vacation was made special because of the villa, the staff, the view and the natural beauty of Jamaica.
