I want to echo what other reviewers have written, as well as yell from the top of Bogue Villa's lovely terrace, there is no better place to spend your time in Montego Bay!
Our family took over the second floor with our craziness from Michigan, New York, and Tennessee, respectively.
When we arrived at the airport, each of us were greeted by the ever-smiling Earl ready to take us where we needed to be. When we arrived at the villa, I think we all were in shock, could this be ours for the week? It was indeed and what a fantastic week it was!!
The accomodations are impeccable. The food cooked by the most amazing cook on the island, Sophia , was the best. The pool and surrounding garden filled up the camera with images we will all remember for a really long time.
Trust me when I tell you. Book this place and have not a care in the world. It will be worth every penny and you will be clamoring to go back.
Much love to the owners, and of course, Earl and Sophia. Thank yous to you all and many more! -

This villa surpassed my imagination. The view is breath taking in person, the pic does not do it justice. Waking up to that view everyday especially on my wedding day will always be the beginning of beautiful memories. We chose this villa to accommodate my husband and I and our 4 children, my sister and sister in law, his parents and my parents which was done effortlessly.
The owners are great, Mrs Trinetta and Mr allen were more like family than anything else. The staff is amazing, Sophie and Ms Elaine were very gracious and friendly. I will definately be staying at the Bogue Villa again in the future, my family and I had a truly amazing time, we were all sad to go. It's great to stay somewhere that makes you wanna take the staff home with you, this kind of impeccable service is very hard to come by and the owners and staff of this villa gets 5 stars from our family.

My family has commiserated all week about making the very tough transition away from Jamaica, back to our routines in New York, Michigan and Tennessee. Our time at Bogue Villa was truly an exceptional opportunity and experience for all of us. These moments of adult time with adult children are quite rare and are to be cherished. Thank you so very much for making this possible.
We were encouraged many years ago to come to Bogue Villa, and indeed, we have known of others who have done so and speak very fondly of their time in Jamaica. Only the language of superlatives really captures the experience that we had. The luxury accommodations, the marvelous weather and the resort-like and inclusive setting of Bogue Villa speak for themselves. But without question, what touched us the most was the hospitality and generosity of your staff. In a short week, we feel as though we joined a much larger family. We cannot imagine that we made a similar impact on Sophia, Earl and Lawrence, but hopefully they found us genuine, respectful and grateful. They are really good people.
It will be very hard to resist a return trip to Bogue Villa. And frankly, we won't spend too much energy resisting!

Hurray Bogue Villa!
Our stay for Jamaica 50 independence aniversary was a memorable experience. Hospitality is refined there. Breakfasts were full course authentic Jamaican meals: ackee and salt fish; callalo and salt fish; fried dumplings and assorted juices. Breakfast was always topped by a beautiful smile from Sophia. Her smiles were as wide as the beautiful Blue Mountain and bright as the tropical sun.
Our poolside barbecue was a festival. Earl eagerly transported us to the market where Sophia help to select the best Jamaican produce . While the ground crew readied the pool, Sophia and Elaine prepared the treat: barbecue chicken; curry goat; steamed fish fish and cooked yam. Again, Sophia's patented smile added to the festivity. Great place, wonderful staff. Move over expensive all-inclusive hotels, Bogue villa is here. -

We had a wonderful vacation at Bogue Villa. The hospitality team is second to none! We received exceptional service beginning with the warm welcoming on arrival thru to the tear filled good bye at departure. Your team has certainly mastered the art of hospitality! Each member of your team, Lawrence, Elaine, Earl and Sophia, brought something special to our vacation each day. I don't think we will ever be able to go to a resort again!
We hope to visit again in the near future!

This place is great and we'll definitely be returning again! Great view, private pool, and someone who cooks for you. Everyone is incredibly friendly. What more could you ask for? The beach is a short drive away but we spent most of our time by the pool. Just a great, relaxing time.

My recent stay at Bogue Villa was excellent. The home was beautiful. The staff was very helpful. Sophie made dishes that made you never want to leave. Earl took me and my guests anywhere we wanted to go. The staff made the trip even more memorable. Waking up to a beautiful sunrise, stepping out on the veranda to a table dressed with hot fresh breakfast, was just what the docotr ordered! The view was immaculate. The private pool was intimate. My experience at Bogue Villa is one i will remeber for years to come.

Montego Bay is a beautiful place full of culture and plenty to do, however the highlight of our family trip was staying in this beautiful villa with a breathtaking view! Our group was aged 21 through 50 and from the youngest to the oldest we all agreed that Bogue Villa is what really set this vacation apart from the many we've all been on. The villa itself is neatly decorated and extremely clean. The grounds are immaculate and lush with tropical trees and bushes. Sophia was so welcoming, warm and accommodating. Her cooking is amazing! Earl is the kindest soul and he went above and beyond to drive us wherever we wanted to go and even recommended some sightseeing for us as well.

Sophia was wonderful, her cooking is beyond compare! She kept the villa neat and very clean. She is very polite, has a great sense of humour and laughed easily. We had the opportunity to meet the owners who provided us with transportation and went out of their way to take us shopping and even treating us to gourmet ice cream. It was my pleasure to spend time with Fred and Trinetta two of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. They were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The house is well furnished and and the rooms were spacious and well equipped. The property is well cared for with various fruit trees from which I had oranges, grapefruits, Jamaican apples and custard apples. The pool is huge and we spent alot of time swimmimg and floating. There is a restaurant "Boston style Jerk" very close to the Villa and the food was authentic and very good. I like the fact that the house is located within 15 minutes of the airport which was nice. There are malls and grocery stores, bakeries and the local crafters market is close by. I was very comfortable and I hated leaving to come back home. It is my intention to return to the villa again and again.

This was a great and affordable place to stay in a very convenient location in Montego Bay. The staff was excellent and Fred and Trinetta are excellent and gracious hosts. My trip to Bogue Villa was restful and relaxing. My stay was not really a touring stay, I went for some R&R;(Rest and Relaxation) and time to think and this place accommodated this very well. The owners were hospitable and willing to provide transportation when requested. There was also a meal plan for staying in that fit right into my plans for R&R.; Shops for necessities were very close and easy to get to and there were even shops to buy vacation reminders of my trip, I bought a beautiful jamaican vacation dress there. The house was well kept and the dogs added an element of security to the place. The pool was always clean and area around the pool was set with nice garden potted plants. There was a barbeque grill available for barbeques near the pool and also a gazebo. My master bedroom overlooked the beautiful Jamaican surroundings with a baloney right off the bedroom to take in my meals or to relax. There was cable TV and a stereo and clean bathrooms with hot water. The kitchen area was well stocked, with a microwave and coffee maker and all utensils for my use, there was also a separate dining area that also overlooked the Jamaican surroundings. I would definitely reccommend this place to anyone new to Jamaica or even past tourist like myself. You cannot find a better place for the price.

Just got back from a wonderful week at the villa. It comes with fantastic staff. Both Sophia and Earl were very gracious, efficient and accomodating as we had our 3yo and 5mo in tow.
Sophia kept us well fed and pampered. Earl was always available if we needed to go anywhere and put up with our 3yo's outbursts in the van. Highly recommended for travellers with children as there is an efficient layout to the bedrooms.
The pool area was well kept, the villa was very clean and spacious and the pictures are very accurate. Nothing beats having breakfast served on the terrace overlooking the ocean. We had wonderful weather every day. Be sure to try the jerk chicken at the restaurant at the bottom of the hill. It was fantastic.
Our vacation was an experience that we will treasure. We would definetly stay here again! -

We had a incredibly great time at Bogue Villa, Jamaica. The villa was exactly as described. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Special thanks to Sophia who tolerated us for two weeks. She is so sweet and irreplaceable. She even helped us with cooking, laundry and finding different activities.
Our group consisted of ten thirsty male Finnish students. The pool area and the bar were awesome and served our purpose perfectly. We could even enter the neighbor snack bar through our garden.
Mr. McDonald drove us daily to hip street and the local mart. He arranged us day trips to Negril and appleton Rum distillery. One day we even went to Falmouth to deep sea fishing and to see the Oasis of the seas luxury cruise ship (made in Finland).
We visited Jamaica during off-season so there wasn't much tourists (which is good) and we got to know plenty of local people. The weather was perfect and we miss it already so much.

Our experience in Bogue Villa and in Jamaica was truly magnificent. We enjoyed the commodities of the place and the friendly atmosphere the hosts offered. The food was delicious and the accomodations were very comfortable and very well maintained and clean, so was the swimming pool. We feel very fortunate to have had the chance to stay there, and interact with local Jamaican people. The host arranged for us side trips (YZ Falls, Negril, Ocho Rios) and adventure activities such a zipline.
We had a wonderful time.
