Exclusive, magnificent single apartment with chemical free pool, stunning rural location in beautiful eco-farmhouse. Nearby beach, golf, tennis, hiking. Fantastic local cuisine, jaw dropping scenery. Local amenities 5mins. Ideal for couples & families.Toddler friendly

There is more to a holiday in Le Marche than a swimming pool.(although we have a pure water 10 by 5 meter one that is free of chlorine and other chemicals ). Meet "real" Italy, ancient hill towns, steeped in history, but not in tourists. The incredible landscape will nourish your spirit and rekindle a sense of wonder at the beauty of the world. Heaven

Left on 12/26/2012 for a stay in September 2012

So much thought has gone into putting this place together - from the welcome pack of organic supplies, high quality bedding, beach towels, well-stocked kitchen (always a good sign when there are decent knives!), computer, Dvds, music, books. The only difficulty was dragging ourselves away from the terrace and the swimming pool. The area is gorgeous - every 5 miles or so yet another impossibly beautiful hill town. There are fabulous markets nearby to buy all your fruit and veggies if you can be bothered to cook - tho Phil and Wendy gave us a list of recommended places to eat - one extraordinary meal after another. Award winning vineyard within walking distance - mountain walks, seaside walks. And almost no tourists...we'll definitely be returning

      Comfort, relaxation, superb countryside views

Left on 06/27/2011 for a stay in June 2011

Visiting early - mid June we had a wonderful holiday at this lovely villa. The accomodation is so comfortable and tasteful with amazing views from the terrace to the pretty hills we felt really lucky to share the part of this family home that is rented out. As a couple early 40's we explored in the car some days, laid by the pool others, happily made oursleves some lunch with a cold glass of wine or a beer and easily prepared meals in the superbly equipped kitchen. We ate out at 3 restaurants suggested by Wendy & Phil and through past guests, within about 15 - 20 minute drive and all very good. We found taking a sat nav very useful throughout the holiday. Phil also suggested an amazing pastry and coffee shop about half hr away in altidona GranForno, 2 cakes and 2 coffees 4 euro. Infact we found prices very good generally in the area from supermarket shopping to coffee shops. Great holiday, lovely family and great part of Italy.

      Lovely spot, charming hosts

Left on 06/21/2011 for a stay in June 2011

A quiet spot in the unspoiled La Marche region. Immaculate 2-bedroom eco-friendly apartment downstairs from the home of hosts Wendy and Phil, who dispel the stereotype of the "reserved British" with warmth and good humor. Great kitchen stocked with affordable (mostly local) wines, and some organic provisions including Phil's wonderful homemade bread! The setting is country-quiet, with lovely views from the back patio, about a half-hour drive from seaside or mountains. I traveled with my wife and college-aged daughter, and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly.
A couple caveats: La Marche is not the multi-lingual environment of Rome or tourist-friendly regions like Tuscany, so it helps to have a passable Italian vocabulary. Also, there's nothing within walking distance, so plan on driving to dining, sightseeing, shopping, etc. La Marche boasts some wonderful scenery, which translates to lots of twisting roads, but fewer insane (sorry, giving into the stereotype here) Italian drivers!

      Superb!!!

Left on 10/12/2010 for a stay in September 2010

My husband and I stayed here with 2 other friends for unfortunately only 4 days - not long enough!!! Although situated in the rolling hillsides and away from the hussle and bustle there are so many attractions and fabulous restaurants nearby.

The hosts are lovely and as we didn't speak much Italian even took us to one of the local restaurants and helped us to order our meal which was great! I think we will definately learn a little more for next time. The first night we arrived we had our meal at the villa which Wendy and Phil prepared for us. We were a fussy bunch, pregnant, vegetarian, no tomatoes and an eat anything person too. They were very accomodating, and the 3 course meal was very tasty. They even supplied a non alcoholic fizzy for myself (pregnant) so I didn't feel left out as the rest were drinking bubbles! As with the human hosts the canine hosts were great also, greeting us in a morning and lying by our feet whilst we had our morning cuppa.

The villa itself was spotless and came with a selection of wine and beers that we could purchase, which came in very handy. We all enjoyed sitting by the quiet private pool and taking in the views and sun.

We all agreed that we would be heading back to visit Wendy, Phil and the family again soon. This time with a little bundle which they assured me would not be a problem as they had all the bits and pieces needed to make it a comfortable stay for him/her.

Wendy and Phil also helped to arrange a vineyard tour with Moreno which was fantastic. We spent most of the day out on the road with Moreno who was very nice and speaks good English, which was good for us, and made us feel very relaxed. We had 2 tours although the first one would have been enough - tour, tasting and lunch. We were there for quite a while but didn't realise until we were leaving, I think the wine was flowing very well!

      Big thanks again!!! x

n.b. When visiting here you will need to hire a car to get around to visit different areas and to get there and back from the airport.

Left on 10/11/2010 for a stay in April 2010

Hospitality superb, Wendy and Phil were great hosts, cooked us a lovely meal on arrival which was excellent. Lots of advice about local wine and a great range to try at the house. Very helpful about restaurants too. Very peaceful area, mountains spectacular - enjoyed every minute of our stay in the house which was very comfortable, spotlessly clean with wonderful views from the terrace. Thoroughly recommend a stay at the Villa.

Fantastic views without having to leave the terrace

Left on 10/08/2010 for a stay in October 2008

Wendy & Phil are charming hosts and their villa in the vineyard is picture perfect. Our apartment was spacious, comfortable and well kitted out. The views from the terrace are just wonderful, you don't need to rush around to soak up the feeling of Italy. The whole area is very lovely with pretty hilltop villages and rolling countryside all around plus the sea is only 20 minutes away.

The pool wasn't there when we stayed, so we'll definitely be coming back to try that out very soon!

Top Marks to Wendy and Phil!

Left on 10/07/2010 for a stay in July 2010

Villa in the Vineyard is the place to choose if you would like to experience Italy "off the beaten tracks". This doesn't mean, however, that you cannot be in the busy and attractive seaside resorts like San Benedetto del Tronto within an hour and less, not to mention the numerous outlet stores in the area...
Villa in the Vineyard is the place to choose if you would like to enjoy the comforts and cleanliness of your own home in your holiday flat, with e.g. a fun-to-cook-in kitchen, superb bathrooms, excellent beds, comfy armchairs and sofa and tasteful decorations throughout the flat.
Villa in the Vineyard is the place to choose if you prefer a relaxed, casual atmosphere, home-made bread and home-grown veges "delivered" to your doorstep and a good glass of wine - a nice selection of which is on offer in your own kitchen ...
Last but not least: The welcoming (but never obtrusive!) hosts make your stay at the Villa a pleasure.

All in all: top marks! It is certainly the best accommodation we have experienced in our frequent visits to various parts of the country, and next year's holidays have already been booked!

Villa in the Vineyard is a beautiful house with relaxing surroundings. The mountains are a short drive away as is the beach. We were looking to get away and enjoy local foods and that's just what we did in Marche. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful and with their help we got to enjoy some seriously tasty foods.

The accommodation is second to none. It is comfortable, spacious, with beautiful decor and equiped to a very high standard. Our hosts were so kind and helpful in enabling us to get the most out of our stay. Little details like the daily bed making and bathroom cleaning helped to make our holiday so relaxing. The rack with a selection of excellent local wines to try is a nice touch.

a little piece of paradise tucked away in a hidden corner of Ita

Left on 09/27/2010 for a stay in September 2010

The villa has everything you could need for a home from home holiday. Our hosts Wendy & Phil are welcoming, extremely knowledgable about the area, and provide loads of written material giving information and ideas for places to visit, eat out etc. They are very friendly but at the same time totally unobtrusive. They provided us with local fresh fruit, home made bread and jam etc and have a compiled a wine list offering a selection of local wines at very reasonable prices. The villa is well furnished, tasteful, modern yet traditional. Lovely clean, chlorine free pool and terraces to chill out, reading or just generallly gazing in awe at the natural beauty that surrounds you. There are sunny areas and shaded areas and a large garden to wander in. The area of Le Marche is less known for tourism but has everything you could ever wish to see. Lovely clean, safe beaches are 30 mins away, and there are dozens of sleepy hilltop towns all around to visit. The gardens are lovely and if you have the desire to cook there is an abundance of herbs to pick right outside your door. There are books for all tastes, Dvd's to watch if you feel like it, and an eclectic collection of music on the computer. We had one of the most relaxing holidays ever, at the villa and would highly recommend it to both couples and families. A car is essential for this holiday. This is undiscovered Italy at its best...

Stunning spot & fabulous accommodation in the Marche

Left on 02/04/2010 for a stay in March 2009

Villa in the Vineyard is a fabulous spot. Stunning and peaceful surroundings, great quality accommodation and wonderful hospitality from Wendy and Phil who live upstairs. They have converted their farmhouse to some of the highest standards I have ever seen in rented accommodation and they are there if you need them and unobtrusive when you don't. I'm looking forward to going back in the summer now they have a swimming pool. There are some wonderful places to visit in the environs and being real foodies, they'll give you some great tips about where to sample the local cuisine! Highly recommended

      Heartwarming hospitality.

Left on 02/04/2010 for a stay in March 2009

I went to Villa in the Vineyard in March/April 2009 and I was deeply touched by the way Wendy and Phil welcomed my daughter and myself. There was no end to their openness and willingness to help us with breakfeast, where to go shopping, what to see in the area, which wine to buy; it was also a great joy to share the space with their 2 lovely boys and last but not least to be in SO beautiful surroundings - the rooms were done with such a good taste, it was a great delight.
We were there when all the fruit trees and almond trees were in full blossom and it was wonderful to drive through the valley; I also very much enjoyed going to all the villages on their different mountain tops. Both villages and cities have so much art everywhere,it is just like a living art exhibition.
It was my first visit in Italy and I don't speak Italien, so it was a great help for me to have English speaking hosts; I very much enjoy the Italian way of living and with Wendy's help we found the best pizza ever and the best coffee place etc.
A big THANK YOU to the whole family and I will definitely be back for another visit with my dayghter and probably my other daughters too.
