This wonderfully elegant villa is situated in a peaceful rural setting on the Tuscan / Umbrian border and offers a central location in Southern Tuscany, only a short drive to the main motorway connections of Valdichiana and Chiusi. The villages of Montepulciano and Cortona are just 20 minutes by car. Siena is a 45 minutes drive, Florence 1 hour and Rome 2 hours by car. The train station is just 6 km away; the local village is 2 km away. The tranquil and simple exquisite beauty of this area is peerless: verdant rolling countryside that still retains an unspoiled rural character. Lake Trasimeno has untouched scenery and shimmering mirror lake w...ith its glass like surface.
