Nestled in the midst of a vineyard this peaceful Tuscan retreat made for a perfect week for at least ten adults. Beautiful pool and loads to do in the surrounding countryside. It will meet all the needs of children as well. The owner, Vieri, is the ultimate host offering marvelous advice about restaurants, local villages and towns and current events. To top everything off, he cooked a first rate dinner for our party. Simply superlative!!!

My 8oth Birthday gift from my sons was a trip to Italy. It was my very good fortune to spend 15 days at this glorious Villa. fantastic
On approaching the villa, we were met by Vieri, warm, charming and most hospitable. During our stay, Vieri would prove to be the "Host with the Most"!!!
On entering the Villa - a beautifully appointed large living room, formal dining room, informal dining area, eat in kitchen, beautiful open stairway to the bedrooms - having large storage and closet areas - some with balconies, looking out on more breath taking scenery. Two libraries up and down. A baby grand piano in the living area (we were fortunate enough to have our own talented pianist).
Our groups' ages were 12, 30, 40, 50, 60 and 80 - all quite diverse - all found complete comfort in our vacation home.
Stepping out onto a beautiful wrap-around terrace overlooking the pristine landscape, vineyards, olive groves and meadows with sheep (even some black ones), pheasant, deer and other wildlife, you could fine complete serenity. If you were not relaxed yet!!! a beautiful swimming pool awaited you - come out and sit on the many chaises and chairs - outside eating area to enjoy your morning coffee, afternoon tea or wine and even dinner if you choose. We watched magnificent sunsets and even enjoyed a huge double rainbow one evening.
And now for the kitchen - every gourmet cook's dream (my two sons are excellent cooks ) - professional pots and pans, 5 burner gas stove, abundance of dishes, glassware, wonderful serving pieces - dishwasher, freezer, barbeque pit, delicious herbs to pick to enhance the gourmet meals my boys cooked...what more could you want.
The surrounding country side was great for long walks or hiking.
All in all this was a vacation beyond my wildest dreams - enhanced by the Villa itself...I have to give this ten stars. Thank you Vieri for making this fantastic Villa available. Your knowledge and time was invaluable
Vacationer please try this Villa.Response from Rebecca - 09/30/2012

This house is spectacular and works great for a group. The modern architecture and decor is very eclectic and so interesting! The house is huge and there is plenty of room for people to spread out and have room to themselves if they need it. There are also outdoor tables on either side of the house. One side is great for breakfast, the other for dinner to optimize sunlight. The pool is lovely. When i got out of it and would look over the Tuscan countryside it felt surreal! I've never had a vacation like this. So, if you're looking for a wonderful, unique house in the Tuscan countryside, this is the one for you.

What a wonderful villa! We couldn't have asked for a better place to relax and enjoy Tuscan living.
Beautiful views of vineyards and olive groves, with sheep, deer, and other wildlife. Easy access to Florence, Siena, and the coast of Tuscany. It was exactly what we wanted.
We came with a group of 11 friends and relatives. The villa gave us a luxurious place to eat, drink, and be merry, as well as escape to read and relax in Tuscan solitude, taking in long, quiet walks through the cypresses and vineyard.
Not only did we get a spacious villa with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, but also a chef's kitchen, a large living room with a baby grand, a study, and a well-appointed dining room. And books everywhere!
The outdoor veranda overlooked the valley - a perfect setting for early morning coffee or sipping wine while watching the sun set. The pool provided a respite from the summer heat, and the ping pong table provided alot of fun and entertainment.
Vieri, our host, answered all questions about restaurants, transportation, events and sites, and wine and cheese.
What else could you want?!
Thank you Vieri! We thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks in Tuscany! -

The house was terrific with lots of living space and bedrooms. There were two outdoor eating areas that we used for both breakfast and dinner. It is in Tuscany so how can that be bad???
Vieri was extremely helpful with directions, suggestions of places to visit and restaurants. We had a great time. -

We had a multi-generational stay at this incredible villa during august 2012. We all loved every minute of it from my 9 year old to my 75 year old aunt. The house is beautiful and there is nothing more relaxing than the pool and the view. You truly will feel like you are on holiday. At the same time you are quite close to the Tuscan hill towns, Chianti region, and Sienna for wonderful half day and day trips.
The house owner is an incredible host who was happy to suggest restaurants, help arrange wine tours, and even came with us for an emergency trip to the hospital -

Villa Falchi is really identical how you can see it on the photos.
It is beautiful, clean, well equipped (much more you can expect!), with a huge space in each room, for everything you would like to do there. You can spend the hottest days in this very very comfortable villa, playing at the piano, relaxing and reading hundreds of books available, or you can be swimming in the pool, playing ping-pong, lying everywhere around the villa at the terraces, or playing with the kids. We were there with 3 kids, age 2, 8 and 11 and they loved it there.
But what is more important to say, is that the owner is a perfect man and I would like to thank him for the best holliday ever. You can not imagine more helpful, educated, and pleasant man than he is! He was available all the time we needed any help, even with a small unimportant advice.
But also he helped me with organising of our wedding, that we had at the villa and the places around. Also because of him our wedding was the most perfect day we expected to have. It was the lifetime experience!
I am not talking about all the beautiful places you can easily invited by car. Amamzing country, amazing places, amazing people, everything is amazing and you can "have" it all.
Hope we will come back soon!

We can not say enough about staying at this villa! We were an extended family of 3 generations and each loved it as much as the next! We had plenty of room to stretch out and feel comfortable and relaxed...we love to cook and the kitchen was perfect...the outdoor spaces to eat, read, relax and swim were ideal...the bedrooms and bathrooms were as comfortable as at home! Vieri is a gem with his suggestions, ideas, assistance, cooking, and friendship! We all hope to come back and will remember our stay forever as just perfect!

Villa Falchi is a home that welcomes you from the moment you arrive.
The hilltop setting and views, the outdoor areas and pool and the
spacious accommodations make it an ideal place for gathering with
friends or family. Its tasteful furnishings, decor and art work make
one feel that a real family has lived there and has now left if for other
families to enjoy. The kitchen and dining facilities make it perfect
for sharing cooking experiences and eating indoors and outdoors
in several locations to enjoy the views. I look forward to going back
with a group of friends and relatives again in 2012.

Decatur, GAWe will come here every year!
Left on 05/06/2012 for a stay in July 2011
We came here last summer with family: Our grown children and their spouses and my sister and her kids (7 adults and 2 children aged 10 and 13). This is actually our second visit here and we plan (hope!!) to be able to come back again each summer. The beauty of the villa, the location and views are indescribable. It would be enough just to stay in the villa the entire trip. The house is spacious, airy and so so comfortable with all the amenities; the pool was a great asset, especially for the kids; the kitchen was well equipped for cooking and entertaining; and the bedrooms... luxury and comfort combined. At night we would eat out on the veranda and admire the breathtaking view. We all loved Villa Falchi!
But we were in Italy and (sometimes reluctantly?) left our home away from home to explore the area. There is so much to see and visit within a very easy drive: Florence, Siena, Volterra among many others. Some of our group went to Pisa for the day and my sister and the kids even went to Rome for the night. There is so much of historical and cultural interest that we have much more to see next visit.
I cannot say enough about how wonderful our hosts were. Helping us with ideas for sightseeing, food, shopping, and making us feel completely at home. No question or request did not get their complete attention. And, since our family sometimes had different ideas of how they wanted to spend their time, it was incredibly helpful to be able to get their advice. They really helped to make our stay special.
We highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone who is looking for a luxury vacation in Tuscany. It really is all you can hope for and more.
