This new Ideal Cottage is a great vacation cottage to accommodate you and your family (sleeps up to one family comfortably) while you spend the days riding the Steel Hog Rollercoaster, enjoying the Indiana Beach Water Park, zip-lining through the park at Adventure Point and endless other adventures and activities! With 2 bedrooms (a Queen bedroom and bunk room with one bunk bed), 1.5 baths, a sleeping loft (with a full size bed and twin bed – great for kids!), a cozy living and full kitchen area with a stone fireplace and sofa bed that pulls out into a twin, scree...ned porch with patio furniture, personal BBQ grill and LCD TVs with DVD, you will find your stay both comfortable and pleasantly convenient.

Rates are introductory and are based on in-season and off-season pricing. During the in-season (June 25th to August 29th), a weekly rental minimum is required.

The weekly rental rate for July 4th week is $1,599.

For Labor Day weekend, stay for up to 4 nights at a rate of $749!

Dogs are allowed for an extra $150 (non-refundable), per pet.

Sales tax and resort fee may apply.

Linens are not provided with the rental but are available for an extra charge.

Please be advised that this cottage is located within a cottage and RV resort and that it does not include maid service, laundry service or any other additional courtesies.

  Our family rented 3 cottages this summer to celebrate a special birthday. Growing up in the 80's, we spent many summers at Indiana Beach and wanted our children to experience the fun. We found Ideal Cottages online and being that they were new this year, we thought they were worth a shot. The location of the cottages could not be better. They are right on the lake and an easy walk to the amusement/water park. They were new, so everything in the cottage worked and was in good condition. The a/C worked the best and we needed it because it was 90+ every day we were there. Sheets, pillows and small towels are part of the rental. The kitchen also has utensils, pans, cups, etc. We brought paper goods and skipped washing dishes. Paper Towels, TP, hand soap, cleaning supplies are not provided and you will need them. There is a nice pool with some chairs (no shade) that is shared with other groups of cottages. It opens at 11am and closes at 8pm. Gas grills, a charcoal grill and picnic tables (in the shade) were also available for use.
  These cottages are small, I'm not sure the pictures will show that. If you are taller than 5'9", you will feel like a giant in a doll house! The room with the twin bunk beds is not large enough for an adult to change clothes. The mattresses are hard too. The loft has a full mattress and a twin mattress which are comfortable but the ceiling height is less than 4 ft. The kids had a tough time changing clothes up there. Also, there are no window coverings in the loft so my kids complained about the bright outside lights during the night. We covered the windows with extra pillows which seemed to work. We did not use the pullout sofa bed, although the sofa was comfortable for 2 adults to sit on. The best part of the cottage is the screened porch with table, 4 comfortable chairs and ceiling fan. The pathways leading to the cottages are gravel and it gets in the cottage. Walking inside without your shoes sometimes was a problem because of the gravel that came in on the shoes. It was even in my kid's bed in the loft. Hopefully cement walkways are in the budget soon!
  Overall, it is a nice rental for 2 adults and up to 4 or 5 kids. Adults or teens may be uncomfortable in the bunks or loft. The location can not be beat.
