Très agréable séjour dans ce magnifique appartement. Service de qualité, nous y revenions pour la troisième fois. Idéal pour une famille ou, comme nous, pour y travailler.

      Very Nice Place to Stay

Left on 03/06/2013 for a stay in February 2013

We spent six days at the apartment in Feb 2013 and found the accommodations wonderful. Everything was clean and bright, good steady temperature, quiet for sleeping and very spacious.
Location, location, location...can't say enough about hoe perfect this location is for exploring and getting to know Montreal. We walked pretty much everywhere we went including hockey at the Bell Centre four blocks away.
If you are planning a trip to Montreal I highly recommend this apartment!

We had an excellent time at this apartment. Best location to be if visiting Montreal and everything in the apartment was set up appropriately for us to have a good time.
Owner was very prompt in responding to our needs before and during our stay.
We recommend this place for anyone who wants to visit Montreal and enjoy the comforts of a home away home.

Beautiful appartment, great location, all mod-cons,

Left on 11/27/2012 for a stay in November 2012

My family and I stayed over the Thanksgiving weekend. The appartment is on two floors, the kitchen is fully equiped including the basics like salt, pepper, montreal steak seasoning, and coffee filters. Its a small thing but makes it so easy as they're the things we often forget at the supermarket, which is close by. And its the small things that highlight the quality of the appartment, for example laminated maps, a very large plate of fruit, a shopping wheely, and all the instruction manuals for the appliances.

The upper floor is spacious with lots of room to relax. The stairs have child safety gates, the appartment is toddler friendly. There's no need to rent a car as the appartment is only a couple of minutes walk away from the subway. If you do bring a car, parking on the street during the weekend is easy, during the week its a little tougher, I parked at one of the Bell Center car parks, again only a couple of minutes walk away, at a rate of $8 per day.

Downstairs the bedrooms are large, comfortable, and very quiet. One bedroom has an attached room where a baby could sleep without being disturbed by the parents when they go to bed. Montreal is only a 6 hour road-trip away for us and provides a taste of Europe without the hassle and jet-lag of taking a flight. The co-owners of the appartment are attentive, close by and only a call away should you have any needs or questions.

The WiFi is high speed so you can connect all your devices. In comparing prices to hotels, its an important point the consider the free WiFi and breakfast on your terms. When travelling with my family I'd never consider a hotel as an appartment is such good value. And this appartment is excellent.

Left on 11/03/2012 for a stay in May 2012

This was a great rental, and quite simply, I found with delight (and disbelief !) that the promises made by the owners on their website accurately reflected the service actually provided.

I was travelling alone, and secretly savoured the hubris of
staying in a huge apartment, kept impeccably clean, very comfortably furnished (comfort includes the beds!), fully equipped (everything works!), and wonderfully quiet (a notable statement from somebody with light sleep). The sense of space of course adds hugely to comfort.

I had been wanting to stay in a place where I could unwind after months of hard toil and a long flight on top, and this was exactly what I was afforded. I was able to entertain my Montréal friends in style (they were bluffed by the garden, which is a delight to use), and the balcony is just another sweet addition to comfort.

Plenty of shops and eateries and coffeeshops nearby, and banks and a tube station, and the bus stop back (sadly) to the airport is round the corner too - no need for taxis.

The flat is managed in the most discrete manner, giving you a perfect sense that this is your space (as opposed to staying at somebody else's place). At the same time, the owners were most helpful to this stranger and first-timer in Canada, which was much appreciated.

I continued my journey across Québec and stayed in quite a few places afterwards but this beats them all.

Maybe it's a bit of a treat, but then it's a perfect treat. I have no reservation whatsoever in warmly recommending this great apartment.

Excellent apartment and excellent help. I recommend this apartment highly. Beautiful. Have everything you need for a visit to Montreal. We visited with our daughter who is one and the facilities for her was fantastic. No problems at all. Moreover we were helped a great deal by the owners with lost baggage.

Subway just a few blocks away. A Cafe/grocer is just around the corner with a larger grocery store only a few blocks away. Within walking distance to the Bell Center, Old Montreal and St. Catherine's street shopping.

Located on a small and quit street, the condo is roomy, clean and well appointed.

      Awesomeness

Left on 10/23/2012 for a stay in March 2012

My wife and I were traveling with our teenaged daughter and we wanted a place that allowed us to feel like we were living in the midst of this wonderful city. The apartment was wonderful and exactly as described/pictured on the website (we had seen it at Vrbo). We were an easy walk to the Metro and it was only slightly farther to the heart of shopping, dining, entertainment, McGill, etc. that Montreal has to offer. The rooms were spacious, modern, comfortable and cool. The kitchen was stocked and it was an easy walk to a nearby convenience or grocery store for supplies.

My only piece of advice would be this: don't bring a car both because you don't need one and because parking is a bit of a problem. But, really you don't need a car. We had one for 24 hours and then returned it because we spent more time moving it to different parking spaces than we spent actually using it.

We'll be back here in 2014 when we next vacation in Montreal.

      Gorgeous apartment and great location!

Left on 10/18/2012 for a stay in June 2012

This apartment is just wonderful. It's beautiful and tastefully decorated, the kitchen contains all the amenities necessary to prepare meals (cutting on costs and calories), and the bedrooms are very comfortable, each with its flat-screen television.

It's also quite conveniently located (only a short walk to a metro station and bus stops) for easy access via public transportation to most locations one would want to visit in Montreal. I wanted to show "my" town to a friend (I lived in Montreal for 15 years and love it), and we couldn't have chosen a better home base from which to explore the city.

The only inconvenience is that parking is a little difficult (it is a big city, after all), although we did find a no fee spot nearby where we were able to leave our vehicle for the weekend.

I will definitely look to this apartment first if I go to Montreal again.

We stayed this fall in this lovely apt. We found the location excellent. It was close to the metro. We also used the kitchen several times to cook dinner from the market. We also followed may of your suggestions for restaurants and attractions. We would add the hotel and tourism school. It was the best value we found.
Highly recommend this landlord and rental
