Melbourne, AustraliaThe only way to go
Left on 11/05/2012 for a stay in October 2012
The location of this apartment was perfect for me. Very central for exploring both new and old city on foot. For further afield ventures the metro was across the road., I attended a conference at Palais des Congres which was literally across the road. Plenty of restaurants minutes away and underground shopping also across the road. The apartment was well appointed with washing machine , dryer, hair dryer and adequate kitchen utensils for preparing own meals. Comfortable double bed separate from lounge. A little dark during the day , but I was rarely there. Nice view of the city. My computer would not connect to internet but Kevin, lent me his for the duration on my stay. This gesture was over and above the call of duty I thought and very gratefully accepted. Both ana and Kevin went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable and free from hastle. Nothing was too much trouble and they engaged on a personal basis to make me feel a welcomed visitor rather than just a client. Ana picked me up from another of her apartments where I had stayed and driven me to this one. Again a very generous action. Overall a most enjoyable stay and so much more comfortable ( and cheaper) than staying in a hotel. This is my second experience of renting apartments and is the only way I would travel in the future. Thanks to ana and Kevin.

KLIt was a home away from home; we didnt want to leave.

Ana is a great host. She met us at the apartment though my wife and I were very late. We had become lost and ana guided us to the apartment by phone. Later, Ana gave us great tips on local restaurants and bars.
We found the apartment very clean and comfortable. There are three heating sources (central air, baseboard, electric fireplace), though we did not require much heat in September and used central a/C more often. All the appliances are large, powerful, and in excellent condition. The bed is very large, luxurious, and very soft. The bath tub is also large enough for two to enjoy some self-service spa-type treatment with local bath salts from the Jean-Talon market. Ana had recommended some spas; but we chose rather to stay in most of one day.
Shopping, sightseeing, and public transportation are very near. There is a large grocery store easily in walking distance as well (you can walk nearly the entire distance indoors). Though gallery lined indoor spaces, my wife and I walked to Place des arts for a wonderful ballet and classical music performance. Notre Dame Cathedral is just around the corner.
I wished that we did not need a car for some of our plans like being part of a wedding procession. I had found having the car to be more of a burden than a help. Streets are difficult to navigate, traffic is delayed by long lights, and parking is either an expense, a chore, or both. The beauty of the surrounding location makes up for the hassle of managing the car; in hindsight we would not choose to stay elsewhere.
In conclusion, the apartment is great for a couple. It is far and away better than a hotel. We enjoyed our six nights, and wanted to stay to do more in Montreal. I highly recommend this rental. -

I stayed in this apartment with my wife and son for 2 weeks in august and we had a wonderful time.
The location was simply amazing. We had the metro station Place D'armes around the corner which was very convenient. The apartment is situated in between downtown and Old Montreal so you have them both at your feet. Many of the attractions were within walking distance so we only needed to take the metro for sightseeing outside downtown and old Montreal.
The apartment was a bit small but adequate, perfectly clean and extremely well equipped. The furniture was new and in great condition. I would also like to reserve special praise for the owner ana. During the whole process of booking she was extremely flexible and helpful. Check-in and check-out were so simple and whenever we needed anything during our trip from cleaning to extra curtains ana was extremely cooperative and responded to our requests immediately.
I would highly recommend this apartment for a lovely, worry-free trip to beautiful Montreal. -

No worries here. Everything is just as it appears, and ana is very accommodating. Well worth it! Great location. Very close to Place D'Armes station.

We recently visited Montreal and stayed in this apartment. Ana the owner greeted us upon the arrival. She is very nice and helpful. The place is beautiful and the location is unbeatable. It is walking distance to all the attractions in Old Montreal. Minutes away to Chinatown, subway and Buses. One thing to mention is this place is in the same building with Embassay Suite and you get the access to the gym there while you stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at this apartment in Montreal. It was so much better than staying in a hotel. Just a 5 minute walk from the subway and just steps away from the heart of Old Montreal. The apartment was clean and very nicely furnished, in fact most of the furnishings were brand new. I have no criticisms. Ana was very available and accommodating, quickly responding to any texts or phone calls. She let me check in a bit early and check out a bit late, as there were no renters before or after. When meeting her, she offered some tips of things nearby and gave a very detailed map of the area. Highly recommended!
