1920's 1st floor, 7 1/2, has absolutely everything you need for a hassle free vacation. Linens, towels, satelite TV, wireless internet, DVD library, board games, books, full kitchen and fully furnished with 1 backyard balcony. Three blocks from Notre Dame Hospital. Minutes from Lafontaine Park and Baldwin Park for outdoor swimming. Free parking on streets. Near metros and buses. The 24 Sherbrooke bus runs often east and west and is just up the street. This rental is facing a small park in front of the house and has sprinklers for kids/grownups. Very refreshing when the mercury is close to 90C. The street is residential with the vast amount of triplexes built in the 1920s. A lot of the apartments have and are being turned into condos which sell upwards of $350,000. All the buildings have a lot of architectual character which is just not seen anymore. There is just so much to do around the rental. Six Flaggs is just down the street, the Latin neighborhood, China town, Old Montreal, Mount Royal, shopping, tons of restaurants, art museums and the 1976 Olympic stadium are just some of the things to see and visit. Parking is absolutely free on deLorimier avenue and the surrounding streets. Once you get into the Plateau, you have to pay for parking. The bus and underground Metro system are close to the house. The 24 bus runs east/west on Sherbrooke street and arrives often. This will take you 3 stops away to the Sherbrooke metro. There are also two other metro stations 15 minutes away by foot; Papineau (on St. Catherine street) and Frontenac (Frontenac/Ontario street). Taxis are also numerous, telephone numbers of taxis are in the apartment. Arriving by taxi from Trudeau Airport will be approx 30 minutes. There are lots of maps and information of what to do, where to go, eat, play, visit. Enjoy your busy stay.
