Great location and beautifully decorated from top to bottom. A warm, cozy escape that's a perfect change to the monotony of hotel living. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a truly unique experience in Montreal. A definite bargain in the heart of this stunning metropolis.

CalgaryReally nice Penthouse suite close to Saint-Laurent
Left on 11/19/2012 for a stay in November 2012
Very nice place to stay, very close to Saint-Laurent for great food and good nightlife. The suite was cozy, lots of place to sleep, fully functioning kitchen and nice rooftop balcony. The 10am checkout can be rough if the previous night was a "good" night. It is an easy $10 cab ride to downtown. Provigo is only two blocks away and a SaQ across the street from Provigo, almost one stop shopping. There was lots of traffic on Saint Urbain but you couldn't hear a thing inside the suite. One thing that could be a problem would potentially be the stairs for people who are elderly, they are fairly steep but for the sure-footed its not a problem. Overall a very good experience.

New BrunswickGirls Weekend
Left on 08/27/2012 for a stay in August 2012
Our group of university friends from Ontario and the East Coast wanted to reunite in Montreal for a weekend, so we decided to rent an apartment instead of staying at a hotel. This was my first time renting a place using airbnb, and it was the best decision that we could have made! The Penthouse was beautiful, clean and spacious enough for 9 girls to comfortably stay. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was stocked with the necessary pots and pans for cooking, and rooftop terrace was fantastic as well. The space was more suitable for visiting than a hotel would have been and it was much less expensive as well. The location was great - there is a grocery and liquor store within walking distance (5 minutes) which was very convenient. We were interested in shopping on St Catherine's street which was only a short cab drive away (the cost was appx $10.00) Tierry was a fantastic host - he quickly replied to any inquiries that I had and made us feel very welcome. I would certainly highly recommend this rental property.

San FranciscoGreat Location
Left on 10/25/2011 for a stay in October 2011
I stayed here with three colleagues for a conference in October 2011.
What I enjoyed most about this property was the amazing location. You're in a beautiful residential neighborhood, just a few minutes from Saint Laurent, some fabulous eateries in Saint Denis, and of course Mont Royal. There's also a bus that stops right outside and will take you downtown in five minutes.
The apartment itself is spacious, with a really great kitchen and deck. But I must say that I feel the posting is inaccurate. First, it is advertised as a 4 bedroom, 2 bath. This is not true: there are two bedrooms, 1 room with a fold out couch, and 1 bed in a nook in the living room. By my count that sleeps 8 at most, not 10. Second, one of the bathrooms is a 2x2 ft toilet, so really the listing is really a 1.5 bath. On top of that, the one bathroom does not have a shower, only a bath with a hose, and no curtain. On top of that, there is wood flooring abutting the bath tub, so you have to be very careful every morning. Finally, the apartment is not completely finished, and has light switches that are not covered, a missing smoke detector, and random bits of paint on the wall. These didn't really effect us too much but was a little weird.
All in all: I would really recommend this place for a group of 6 or less non-fussy people who want to get an authentic urban Montreal experience. Just be careful in the bathroom. -

TorontoAbsolutely Perfect!
Left on 09/21/2011 for a stay in September 2011
I stayed here for a weekend with friends and we absolutely loved it! The owners were great too - very helpful and extremely organised. Location couldn't have been better either, we were within walking distance of everything we needed - Schwartz's, Cafe Santropol, grocery store, running trails (the mountain), Fairmount Bagels... Would definitely like to stay here if I ever have another Montreal vacation with friends!

Vancouver BC CanadaGreat place for family with pre teens and grown kids
Left on 09/03/2011 for a stay in August 2011
This location is wonderful! Walk to major streets like St. Laurent, St. Denis, Mont Royal and Rachel. Great for day time shopping at boutiques and close to night life for the adults. Bus stop is right outside the door and walking distance to metro if you don't mind a 15 minute walk, otherwise, take the bus to the metro. Value for money is excellent, we are a family of 6 and need 4 different sleeping rooms and this home can acommodate that.
The only thing we missed was a shower. There is a big soaker tub which is wonderful and it has a hand held sprayer so you can shower by holding that in one hand while you stand but there's no shower curtain so you have to be diligent about keeping the spray going towards the back of the tub.
Also, I left some brochures that I picked up while I was there so visitors could see some of the attractions.
I highly recommend taking the local bus tour to acquaint yourself with the city.
Give the Oratory a miss unless you're really into that stuff. La Ronde is excellent for older kids and adults, not so much for the preteens.
No matter what you choose to do, staying at this home will serve you well both in terms of comfort and location as well as price. The owners speak English and French (maybe other languages too) so that makes it easy.
I would definately stay here again or at one of their other properties.

We had a wonderful time and comfortable stay in this house...I really needed 4 beds given the size of my immediate and extended family, and this house was perfect. The location was proximal to a beautiful park and we walked to McGill University to see a football game.

BurlingtonNot long enough!
Left on 07/14/2011 for a stay in June 2010
This place is great, so close to everything. The patio is a nice place to relax after a night out or a day browsing round Montreal. If you want to get out for a bit of exercise you have Mont Royal right behind you which is a good hike with the reward of awesome views over the city. The apt gives you plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves and for the value is hard to beat. For any foodies the famous Schwartz Deli is about 2 blocks away so you can get there in the morning easy before the crowds build( the line up can be pretty ridiculous), i also strongly recommend the chicken place just up the road from Schwartz, simple yet satisfying. I'll definitely be going back.

Left on 07/06/2011 for a stay in June 2011
We enjoyed our stay in this penthouse, the location was great and walking distance to many restaurants and hangout spots. This is a great alternative to staying in a hotel and you get to save some money too! Overall, a good experience.
