Service
Right from booking this felt like a really good choice. Luke communicated quickly when I had questions before we arrived, and the correspondence was clear and had useful info. He was so friendly when we arrived after a looong day travelling from the UK, gave us a swift tour round our studio as he appreciated we were tired! He was on hand if we needed anything, but we felt independent at the same time.
Studio (2)
Really clean and nicely laid out. A little balcony with seats too, which was nice. The kitchen has everything you need for simple snacks and meals, a microwave, hotplate, toaster, grill, kettle, coffee maker; dishwasher and fridge. Heating / cooling appliances a-plenty. Situation was quiet and we slept well. Comfortable bed with lovely bedding. Bathroom has heated flooring which was lovely! Plenty of cupboard and shelf space in the studio for all our stuff. Plenty of space for 2 people, though we had the bigger studio.
Just outside the door on the landing cupboard with loads of cleaning materials, including a washer and dryer, with plenty of liquids etc. Really useful and thoughtful.
Location
The location is excellent; safe and quiet. Laurier metro less than 5mins walk, this gets you pretty quickly to Downtown, and other areas - we went to the Ice Hockey at the Bell Centre on the metro and it was only around 25-30mins door to door. 5mins walk in the opposite direction a corner shop which seems to be open all the time, and stocks useful items such as water, milk, (excellent) local beers, snacks, toiletries etc. Then a little further (maybe a 10min walk) is L'Avenue Du Mont-Royal street, which has loads of restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, supermarkets, cashpoints etc. We went to St Viateur Bagel (a must visit), and also took Bagels back to our studio for the next day's breakfast.
Overall
We loved it here, and we loved Montreal. Would definitely stay again.
