Mountain View allows you to be in Montreat with all the comforts and conveniences of your own home. Several comfortable beds in the 4 bedrooms allowed us to configure rooms for early conference classes and later ones, a well equipped kitchen (it has everything including a crock pot and a wok!), a hammock and rocking chairs to relax while enjoying the view, a spacious game room, air conditioning, wi-fi and cable for creature comforts, it really is like being at home...only at Montreat. We were supremely satisfied. We would gladly stay there again.

We have stayed at Mountain View for several years, and have
enjoyed our stay each time. There is indeed a mountain view, and it is spectacular. The house itself is nicely furnished and has accommodated our rather large group in fine fashion. -

This is the second year my group has stayed at Mountain View, and it was even better than the first time, if that were possible. It has all the accommodations and comforts of home. It has a wonderful game room for the youth to enjoy themselves in. The kitchen and dining room are perfect for a large group, and the option of eating out on the wrap around decks is remarkable. It's only a short ride to the conference center, but allows for some quiet and distance so that my group can bond together.

Our church senior high youth group stayed at Mountainview for a week in July. The view was breathtaking! The home was beautiful and had everything you would need in the house! The pool table, air hockey table and ping pong table provided much entertainment for the youth. The kitchen was well equipped and the dining room large enough for our groupt ot enjoy meals together. We plan to stay here again next July. Great home!

First off, this was a retreat weekend for our young marrieds homegroup from church so we really liked that the owners had a sign next to the door indicating that Christ was welcome in their home. Secondly, the view was great and we all enjoyed the accomodations. I would stay in this home again and recommend it to others. the only issue we had was that the downstairs bedroom appeared to not have been cleaned in a while and had mouse droppings in it, spider webs and dead bugs. this resulted in our changing sleeping arrangements for a night. However, GB promptly sent a cleaning lady on Sat who remedied this.

With plenty of bedroons, baths, and porches, plus a great kitchen, big dining area, den and game room, we had choices for enjoying the mountains at home or out and about. Greybeard Rental provided outstanding service and we recommend renting the linens! We plan to return!

This was a delightful holiday for my family. It offers a property where
staying at the home is warm and comfortable but just minutes away
we were hiking on great trails. It is very close to Asheville only 20
minutes away but is 5 minutes to the welcoming small town of Black
Mountain. It was great for us who are in our 50's but just as great for
our granddaughter is who 17 months. The owners have thought of
every comfort measure for you to make your feel at home and rested.
This property provides privacy for your family but is close to the areas
attractions. It is one the nicest homes and areas we have rented in
this area. We will rent again from this company as we have had great
results with their properties and we highly recommend this property to
anyone who wants a top AA+ vacation.
