Description

This pretty house has two downstairs bedrooms, one double and one twin bedroom with two single beds. A great living room with an authentic stone fireplace. Two big sofas and a couple of armchairs alow you to relax. On the other side of the living room is the dining room. Antique table and chairs. The country style kitchen - with every thing you might need to feed your family and friends ! There is also a downstairs bathroom and toilet.

Upstairs are two more bedrooms, with the same plan as downstairs. A big bathroom with tub, double hand wash basin and loo.

Private garden and patio, bbq and garden equipment. Private pool - fenced 5 x 7m

Parking on site. Horses and ponies on site. Tennis court in the village. CHateaux country - all within easy driving distance. Great wines - the Loire and Cher are right here. Fabulous restaurants in Chatillon sur Indre and Loches. Dogs on site.

“DISCRACEFUL”

This place was not only dirty it was filthy we had to thoroughly clean the bathrooms, kitchen and all its contents, before we could use anything. There was mouse droppings in the cupboards and on shelves. Most of the plates and crockery was badly chipped. We had to unplug the fridge freezer to plug in the oven every time we wanted to cook. The bedding smelt so bad we had to wash it before we could use it. There were many loose electric sockets that came out of the wall when we unplugged items. The upstairs bedroom door was hanging of its hinges. (The owner said she did not have a handyman so we had to fix it ourselves as it was dangerous) The upstairs bathroom did not have a lock, it also did not have a catch so we could not even shut the door let alone lock it. We had no privacy whilst using the toilet and shower, The upstairs bedroom wall was so thin with no insulation we could hear them clearly in the next building. We could even hear them using their bathroom. None of the bedrooms had usable wardrobes- so we lived out of our suitcases. We had to cut bushes and branches from trees before we could access the pool area. Most of the pool and garden chairs were broken. There are far too many things to mention. I wish i could attach the pictures we took backing up this review. We are concerned that their are many dangerous elements that should be addressed before the property is let out again. We complained to Trip Advisor as we thought they were a reputable company and would be appalled at the state of a property they were advertising. We were very disappointed with their response. All I can say is that my conscious is clear, it is just a matter of time before there will be a accident in this property.
