This detached cottage is set three miles from Morfa Nefyn and sleeps seven people in two bedrooms. Upper Lodge is a detached, single storey cottage in a rural location, three miles from Morfa Nefyn on the Lleyn Peninsula. This cottage sleeps seven people in two bedrooms, consisting of one double and one twin, as well as a bathroom. The cottage also has a kitchen with breakfast bar, dining room with open fire, a sitting room with woodburning stove and double sofa bed and a snug with single sofa bed. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

We booked this property last minute as a quick peaceful get away was needed due to work stresses etc... The booking process was simple and the owners then contacted me to ensure I had all the correct information, key pick up and directions. Paul was extremely helpful and only ever a phone call away. When we arrived we were blown away by the beautiful location of the property, the property has a breath taking garden with swing, benches and many little hide away's for children to get away and explore. Outside the front door there is a lovely little stream, I loved sitting out there in the morning having my cup of tea and listening to the trickle of the stream and looking at the stunning views.
Pictures of the property don’t do it justice you need to see this property to understand its charm and appeal. My son who is 9 is an Xbox nut and we thought he would moan all holiday about not having anything to do, every morning he got up and went straight to play in the garden, building dens and playing on the swing, I was amazed not once did I hear Mum I’m Bored!! ! !
The property has a cosy little sitting room with a wood burner (which I loved) and a beautiful large dining area to share lovely family meals.
Not far (15 mins) is Nefyn beach and this is a must visit, the beach is beautiful!
Please if you want peace, family time, seclusion and peace FO mind visit upper lodge!!

Booked at the last minute. Though I got it booked during the Christmas time, I would say the rates were still nominal. Never thought will get such a nice and lovely place to stay. Rather saying it as difficult, I would say it was thrilling to reach the cottage. Reached there too late in the night so couldn't find the way. Thanks to Kay who helped us find the way home. She was so nice despite calling her so late at night.
The location and the surrounding are exceptionally good and would definitely like to go there again. Would definitely recommend people to stay there. Hats off to Paul and Kay (the owners) for such nice maintenance. -

This cottage is on a narrow winding road in a very isolated part of Boduan.It took us a while to find the cottage.The property is dark,damp and musty.The windows of the two bedrooms,snug room and the lounge do not open,we were desperate to let some fresh air in but to no avail.The chest of drawers were full of dust and the window frames had not been clean for a while.The main bedroom bed mattress had seen better days.The t.v did not work the first day and the heating the next,but the caretaker was very helpful and fixed them both.The entry system works with a security code,but the out side light only works from the inside.We came in late one night but couldn't see anything to put the code.[panic,panic.] It is not practical for seven people to use one bathroom.however the lounge is nice with wood burning stove,the garden is beautiful with nice view of the welsh countryside.There are also some lovely walks from the cottage..

Booked a last minute break and everything went smoothly - no problems at all, owner very friendly and helpful. The cottage has character, efficient heating and a huge garden. Good walks nearby and beaches are an easy drive away. Even the mixed weather didn't spoil things.
