Chalet Bruyere offers very comfortable en-suite accommodation of a high standard in a tranquil yet central location in the Swiss alpine village of Morgins. The chalet is just 30 metres from the Foilleuse chairlift which links directly into the massive Portes du Soleil ski area encompassing France and Switzerland. Morgins, a traditional, family friendly alpine village is located in the world-renowned Portes du Soleil ski area on the Swiss/French border at an altitude of 1330m. Morgins benefits from an infectious mix of cultural influences & it is known for its pure mountain air & therapeutic waters as much as for its skiing. If you wish to have an exceptional stay in a traditional alpine village in a typical and charming Swiss chalet, then Chalet Bruyere will be the place for you. Ski Morgins is run by Hilary and Rob Markland for whom nothing is too much trouble and whose attention to the smallest detail is clear. The rooms are comfortable, quiet and clean and the breakfast room is spacious with excellent breakfast buffet. Look nowhere else!

The family stayed here in august (2012) to sample some summer alpine fun! The service we received from Hilary and Robert Markland was first class - they were prepared to go the extra mile to make our stay memorable! Alpine flowers and Swiss chocolate greeted us upon arrival to this spacious chalet which was impeccably clean and well-presented. It was very comfortable and much to our children's delight had satellite tv and Wi-fi. The owners have lived in Morgins for quite sometime and we given lots of local information. The chalet is situated in the middle of the village, two minutes walk to the main chairlift and central to all the village amenities. We had quick access to mountain bike rental and enjoyed some great walks. Great views from the chalet garden which was good for eating and lounging! All in all, a really good place to stay in the heart of an incredibly beautiful village!

This chalet is one of the best we have ever stayed in and we have been to Morgins many times before. It is centrally located close to bars, supermarket and most importantly the lift! We walked and biked till our legs ached returning 'home' to Les Bruyeres and comfy sofas and beds. The chalet is really well equipped with a full kitchen where you could cook a Cordon Bleu meal if you really wanted to. The location makes it perfect for winter or summer breaks and Rob & Hil are superbe hosts with amazing local knowledge. We will be back! Kids (and husband) loved the free wi-fi and satellite tv!
