Beautiful home in the Laurentians north of Montreal, lakefront (2 beaches across the lake) and minutes from all the major skihills, Three bedroom with the master having 2 floors, 2 bathroom, LR, den with 2 pianos. There's a satellite dish, fireplace, lots of great art, reading material, music and books.

The Laurentians is Quebec's showpiece resort area and this is only one hour from Montreal. So come for a weekend, week or reseve for a longer period. There are different rates which are sometimes negotiable.

The grounds are wonderful with a large area across the road to trek in and discover some of our wonderful forest animals... if youre lucky!

This beautiful 3 bdrm, 2 bath house only one hr. from Montreal is located on a medium sized with no motor boats allowed. We have a rowboat, canoe, kayak and pedal boat. It takes a half hour to stroll around the lake.
The grounds have lovely perennial gardens and many trees. This is a wonderland resort area and the house in 1 hour from Montreal and only 10 minutes from St. Sauveur; 45 minutes from the famous Mont Tremblanc...best of everything in the Laurentians.
At the house, there’s swimming (beach areas), fishing (spring & fall), a canoe, peddle boat, local hiking & biking trails, and St-Sauveur water parks just a short drive away.
In winter, the cottage is close to all major ski slopes plus cross-country ski trails on the lake and in nearby St-Sauveur & Morin Heights. St. Sauveur is a diners paradise; only 10 minutes from the house.

  We rented the house/cottage for a week in the summer a few years ago, and are renting again for two weeks this summer of 2012. Our experience was that the setting was perfect for an experience as a family, or for one or two persons. The owner, Lucy, was more than hospitable and worked well with us prior to the experience and after. We found the house comfortable and clean and look forward to seeing the improvements and new projects done to the home since that time. We loved the layout ... a big outside porch and dining table, comfortable bedrooms, outdoor beauty, and fully functional kitchen. We did water activities, including boating and swimming and fishing; we explored the ski areas within an easy distance drive; we visited Montreal several times. What a perfect location for a vacation for all ages!!! We definitely look forward to the two weeks in august when we will be there again!

  The cottage is ok, some things are very nice, other things, like the beds and kitchen, are beat up. The price is fair, as it isn't that expensive. It is a personal cottage, and dealing with the manager was harder than it needed to be. Multiple in person meetings, many pointless phone calls, and eventually I was criticized for not returning a call the same evening. The stereo was a collection of 1970s relics that did not work, we tried to get it to play, and were charged 50 dollars for a technician to fix it. We left the place immaculately clean, and expected our full deposit back.

  If you look at the photos of the house you will see how beautiful it is. That is why the client rented in the first place. Nothing is beat up in this house; the appliances are new as well as all the beds except for 1. The client neither had a cell phone nor a car so I was forced to go downtown twice to meet with him . The only number I had was not his & the party did not respond to it until a couple of days later each time. The record collection is valuable & not for the clients' use but there is a DVD/CD etc. for everyone to use. The client changed around all the cables behind the TV & apologized only after I discovered that nothing was working as a result and called him to ask about it. He then mentioned what he had done & that he hoped it wasn’t an inconvenience, when in fact it was a major problem. I called Bell satellite & they had to come & rearrange the cables in order to get things back as they were. The bill was $125 and I charged the client $50 for (sent him a copy) which I considered fair. It is worth noting that in ten years of renting I have only had 2 other instances like this, the guests told me about them right away & offered to get fixed right away.
