Mororo is approx 25minutes from Yamba in the hinterland. It is a rural
area with lifestyle, working cattle and horticultural activities on the properties. Native Australian birds & animals are plentiful. A nature walk in the Australian bush has been created on the property. A 15 minute drive will take you to secluded and beautiful beaches near unique coastal villages.
The closest air ports are Ballina(North) and Grafton(South), they are 1hour drive by car, the Gold Coast is 2 hours North of Mororo.

Upon our return journey from the Hunter Valley to Brisbane I booked the final night of our road trip at the gorgeous Cosy Cow. The sleepy cows welcomed us at the front gate as we drove into the farm property and owners Wayne & Julie were promptly helping us with our bags and quick to prepare us our dinner. As I entered the room I was delighted as it looked just like a B&B; off the pages from Country Style. We enjoyed a delicious steak dinner from their home grown stock followed by a lovely dessert. The double spa bath was delightful and just what we needed after being on the road for a few days. After an amazing night's sleep, we enjoyed a leisurely home-cooked breakfast on the screened deck followed by a walk around Wayne and Julie's property patting the miniature horses and enjoying the walking track by the creek. Wayne and Julie have appointed the rooms beautifully and we look forward to coming back on our next Brisbane to Sydney road trip.

We loved our stay at the Cosy Cow - and rated it the top B&B; from our australia trip! Julie and Wayne were the perfect hosts. On our first night, Wayne took us on a bush walk down to the dams and really made us feel welcome. They gave us great local tips about child friendly beaches to visit and other local attractions (and even lent us wellies for our bush walk!).
The accommodation was perfect for us (we were travelling with my parents and our 2 year old daughter). Cosy Cow is a beautifully decorated property, spotlessly clean and very welcoming!
The thoughtful added touches made a big difference, such as the hot cross buns and mini easter eggs for us to enjoy on arrival. Breakfast on the terrace in the company of our hosts was the ideal way to start the day.
A very peaceful retreat, very child friendly (our daughter loved watching the wallabies that jumped around the garden first thing in the morning and in the evening) and we very much hope to be back!
