Get ready to be thrilled when you enter this totally renovated home (just completed in fall of 2010) with all new furnishings, linens and kitchen! This home is beautifully decorated both inside and out. What makes this home even more fabulous is its location – ONE BLOCK FROM THE MORRO STRAND BEACH!! Jump on the chance to stay in this new-on-the-market vacation rental to experience what a real luxury vacation stay is all about.

No details have been forgotten in decorating... and furnishing this home. The living room has views of the ocean, a stone fireplace, an extremely comfortable couch and a large TV. It also has a nice desk area for writing out your postcards or surfing the internet for the best restaurant in the area. The good news is that there is a separate den/media room with a very large flat screen TV so the kids and adults can each have their own space to hang out.

Now the best part – the kitchen and dining area are in one large room that is adjacent to both the living room at one end and the media room at the other. Should you need to be working on dinner but that big sports event is on – don’t worry! The kitchen/dining area has a 55-inch TV so you won’t have to miss a single play. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could possibly need to prepare your meals including an extensive selection of spices. All the kitchen appliances are high-end stainless steel models, including a gas stove and oven, a trash compactor, a refrigerator with ice and water available in the door and a microwave. The big kitchen island and counters are done in beautiful granite and provide plenty of space for multiple cooks.

This home has 3 comfortable and roomy bedrooms, each one with blackout blinds for sleeping in or enjoying an afternoon nap. The master bedroom is very spacious with a king-size bed, TV and private bathroom. The second bedroom also has a king-size bed and TV with a bathroom adjacent to it. The third bedroom has 2 twin beds, a TV, DVD player and its own bathroom right next door. The home also has 2 very comfortable fold-out beds with memory foam mattresses that can be set up to fit your group’s needs. All of the beds are new and good quality to ensure that you get a good night’s rest and the bathrooms are decorated with beautiful tile and stocked with luxury towels.

Since most people visit the California Central Coast to enjoy the beautiful ocean breezes and the great outdoors, you will enjoy the brick patio area in front of the house, so be sure to plan some time to hang out there and enjoy the ocean view and the beautiful landscaping that surrounds you. If you want a bit more privacy, there is also an enclosed patio where you can hang out and swap stories while the grill-meister of the group works his magic using the large, top-of-the-line Weber gas grill.

Of course what really matters is how easy it is to get to the beach! Just take a short walk (1 small block) and you are at the beach access entry. Once you are there, it is a quick few steps through the dunes on a well-trodden path and you are on the never-ending Morro Strand beach that stretches from Morro Rock to the Cayucos Pier with views beyond to Montana de Oro state park and the Harmony Headlands.

This area offers so many outdoor activities – biking, hiking, surfing, kayaking, exploring the ocean tidepools and much more. There are also many cultural programs offered through Cal Poly and the local artists groups in the area. And if you are a connoisseur of wine, you don’t want to miss tasting in the Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo wine regions. Be sure to check the local publications so you can participate in some of the many festivals and special events that happen in the area.

This home is located in Morro Bay, a small coastal fishing town on California's central coast. It is near San Luis Obispo where California Polytechnical Institute is located. This area offers great hiking and biking, great wine tasting, beautiful beaches and parks. Hearst Castle is only 20 miles away.

  This house is wonderful! We wanted something where our small family could stay for the weekend of our wedding in Morro Bay. The pictures do not do it justice. It is stunning. We had the master bedroom which had the most comfortable bed ever! Nice private patio. The house was clean and is kept up very well. Most rental houses at the coast are pretty worn out but not here. It was just a short walk to the beach which was awsome!. The neighborhood is quiet.

  After a week of traveling the California coast, four of us stayed 2 nights at this wonderful Morro Bay house 1 block from the beach. It is a beautifully decorated home with exquisite taste and style. The beach was tranquil and the evenings were spent in front of the fireplace with great views of the water. It was relaxing and wonderful! Thank you to Maggie and Nick for great service and great rates! The experience was beyond our expectations. We hope to come back next year!

  The home is on a corner lot with a view of the ocean. The interiors are of the highest quailty! It truly was the perfect beach house. But as we all know, people are what make the visit go well.
