Relax like never before, with beautiful villages to visit where
Left on 10/10/2012 for a stay in September 2012
I went with my mother in September, the weather was still nice, not hot enough to use the lovely pool unfortunately :-(
We were greeted by Cathy an Enrico who are the hosts of this lovely mini mansion tucked away in the endless views of real Italy. They were very warm and welcoming and helpful throughout the whole visit.
There are so many beautiful places to visit around the area. The sandy beach is close by and plenty of little villages where they have different events going on. Also make sure you experience as much Italian food as you can! I know i did! Oh and of course the Italian wine, if you run out your hosts have always got some available to buy, mmm!
Lovely location, clean and tidy and it was a real pleasure to meet both Cathy and Enrico. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone, especially if you need that relaxing break! -

We had the opportunity to stay at Solobello Country House for 2 weeks. Everyday was a treat. Great accomodation within nice surroundings. Close to the beach of Senigallia.
A fantastic place to discover the wine and food of Le Marche. But above all the owners make you feel at home away from home. Kathy and Enrico, thanks for a wonderfull time!
We'll be back.. -

We actually only stayed one day, but Enrico and Kathy were very gracious, showed us around, and took us to a winery. It was wonderful and I hope to go back soon to stay awhile. We both highly recommend Solebello. It would be a great way to travel as a family.

If your mother tongue is english, if it's the first time you are by your own in Italy, and if you want to envoy everythingg: the sun, the sea, the country, the wine, the food and more, and if Tuscany is a little bit too crowded for you, then Solebello is just the perfect place.
And Cathy and Enrico are the perfect hosts: friendly, but not too much, and efficient.
In fact, we are neither american, nor british, but french speaking people, who knew this part of Italy for a long time.
And.. these weeeks at Solebello were just "géniales". We were four generations alltogether.
We hope to be back in Solebello next year.

What a wonderful trip. Solebello is beautiful and Enrico and Cathy were exceptional hosts. They helped us plan great day trips, recommended restaurants and were fun guides. We so enjoyed just hanging out with them. The scenery was breathtaking, the food was delicioso and everyone we met was warm and welcoming. We visited vineyards, an olive grove and many medieval towns. Solebello was our home for ten days, and we consider Enrico and Cathy our friends. We will be back.

We stayed in the Tower. There were 5 adults in our party. Inside there was ample room to spread out and relax, but who wants to stay inside when there is a beautifully landscaped front garden with a pool and secret garden in back. We arrived late, so Cathy and Enrico took us to grocery store and helped us find everything that we needed for the week. Later they took us to their favorite pizzeria down at the beach. A couple of us joined Enrico on his weekly trip to the area's local winery, and because we were a guest of Enrico, we received a private tour and tasting from the owner. It seemed as if everyone in the area knew of Solebello, and if you told the restaurateur, pharmacist, etc... that you were guests of Cathy and Enrico you would receive special treatment. So if you are staying in central or southern Marche, Solebello is the place to stay!

The property is situated on the Marche hills, in a superb location affording breath-taking views and just a few miles from the beach, with easy access to several historical borgos. Senigallia, the closest city, is one of Italy's adriatic coast most sought-after beach resort. Wine-tasting and excellent traditional food offers are within minutes from the property. The property itself consist of a refurbisehd country home, with a well-kept brick facade, porch, comfortable living quarters, including a spatious and well-equipped kitchen, a huge garden with trees and parking for several cars. All amenities available (heating system, washer/dryer, oven, TV, etc.) The internal subdivision in three apartments, which can be rented separately or together, makes it an ideal destination for couples, small groups and and large families. The manager speaks English and Italian, and she is very attentive to the needs of the guests.

Our stay at Solebello was wonderful. The owners were extremely helpful with information and directions. On many of the days they were our guide, showing us their home, the surrounding areas and giving us the history. They became our friends. I cannot recommend them or their home highly enough.

Hosts Enrico and Cathy were so kind to us. They showed us the towns of Morro D'Alba and Senigallia better than any brand name tour operator ever could have. The grounds of Solebello were beautifully landscaped and maintained perfectly. The apartment we stayed in was beautifully furnished, immaculate, comfortable and had every convenience and amenity americans are accustomed to. Both speak impeccable Italian and English so my friend who did not speak Italian was always at ease. Have them show you the family run restaurant that serves phenomenal homemade gnocchi !!!

Left on 10/28/2010 for a stay in October 2010
A beautiful modern villa located just 1 mile from the city of Morro D'Alba and 7 miles from the adriatic beaches of Senigallia. We stayed in the Temple apartment which has 2 double bedrooms (just as much space, if not more, as you find in large american bedrooms), a large full bathroom with combination shower/bath, a fully equipped (gas stove, refrig, cooking/eating utensils, etc.) kitchen and living/dining room combo with a pull out couch and TV. Extremely comfortable facilities on a peaceful hilltop setting.
Solebello’s location makes traveling to central and eastern Italy attractions very easy. 2 hrs to Deruta and assisi, 90 mins to Gubbio, 1 hr to San Marino to the north and Loreto to the south plus all the small hillside cities in between. Of course there are the east coast beaches and the port city of ancona for possible adriatic cruises. So much more to see and do than in Tuscany and Umbria—and just as pretty.
The owners, Enrico and Cathy Camponi, not only shared their villa with us but also their time by taking us to various cities and explained their histories. They took us to a wine festival in Morro D'Alba, arranged a visit to an olive oil production facility and introduced us to many, many facets of Italian living—the Marche style.
Get away from the standard Italy tourist areas and really enjoy Italian living with Enrico and Cathy—you cannot do better!
