Serac is ideal for small groups or family skiing trips as there are five bedrooms and three bathrooms (one is ensuite). 2 bathrooms have baths and 1 has a shower. There are 4 WC's. The stylish open-plan living / dining and kitchen area is delightful and has three comfortable sofas and flatscreen TV with Freeview channels & DVD.
The chalet is really well equipped for groups self-catering. There is a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, drying cupboard for ski gear / mountain bike gear, wide 5-hob, 2 full-size ovens, fridge/freezer and bar fridge, and all the kitchen equipment you could need. Chalet Serac is situated very close to the town centre but in a quiet spot close to the River Dranse and the Palais des Sports. The latter has a gym, sauna and jacuzzi. Two minutes' walk from the chalet across the river brings you to the lift to the Super-Morzine telecabine station. From there it is five minutes walk to the Pleney lifts (or a quick ride on the free “petit train”) where most beginners would be having their lessons. Just 2 minutes’ walk in the other direction you have the lively Rue du Bourg, where many of the best après ski bars are found, and the main Carrefour supermarket.

There were 8 of us in the group so we had plenty of room as the chalet is advertised for 11 but we all agreed that 11 would have been a bit of a squeeze if it was 11 adults, it would be fine for 8 adults and 3 children though.
The chalet has really good amenities, 2 full sized ovens, 5 ring hob, dish washer, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge freezer and another fridge, all in good working order. There was enough crockery to feed the 5000! Plenty of saucepans etc, all in all it was no problem cooking there for 8 people and we cooked nearly every night. The chalet manager was really helpful getting the initial shopping for us, which took care of most of the heavy stuff, although the supermarket is just down the road.
It was comfortable enough to relax in the evenings with English Freeview and radio.
We also booked the transfer from Geneva airport though Rachel as well and the driver was waiting for us when we landed and we all thought what an excellent driver he was.
All in all I would recommend this chalet and we were all very happy with our choice this year. -

The chalet was great and met all of our needs. Well-located, being just out of town so peaceful,yet only a short walk to reach all amenities. Really well equipped and decorated, modern yet relaxed and homely.

The Chalet is excellent. Its very well situated (for both summer and winter months), very clean and very well equipped. I was especially impressed with the amount of information provided about local activities, restaurants etc which has put other rental companies to shame. Being in town, and next to the tennis courts, swimming pool and ice rink means that its not in some tranquil hillside setting, but the access to town, ski lifts and sports facilities makes up for that. we had an excellent week in the summer there and would definitely go back in winter or summer. Well done Rachel and her team.

We stayed in the chalet for a week and it was a wonderful stay. It's definitely a 5 star chalet, you really can't think of anything missing. It has an excellent location, you get the quiet beautiful atmosphere you need where you can enjoy a walk in the mountain and see the beautiful lake.
And it's close by annecy, geneve and so many other cities. Rachel is a wonderful person to deal with, we arranged everything in 2 days and were amazed by the professional way she handled everything.
We are definitely coming back and will recommend it to all our friends :)

We had a thoroughly enjoyable week in the Chalet Serac. It is in an ideal location (even better when the funicular is working!). It was clean and well equiped. The open plan layout meant noise could be a problem, as did the 3 bedrooms on the mezzanine level having to access the bathrooms through the main living area. However, we would definitely stay at this chalet again with the right group makeup.

Comfortable spacious chalet with modern feel in traditional chalet. Very well equipped. Support staff was very friendly and professional to help with transit and re-arranging transit, to be flexible with check-out.
(Walk to main lift area was do-able and tooks us about 10 minutes with young children, aged 4, 6 and 8 years.) -

First on the slopes and off by noon or 1 before the sun got too high. Very easy drive (10 mins) to Les Prodains and up the gondola to avoriez. Bus stop at end of road. This time of year, this was only skiing; to be expected.
Location just a couple of mins to shops and right in front of the river Dranse and tennis courts/skate park.
Right next to ice rink.
We really liked Morzine and this accommodation was good for us. Only niggle was the top two beds had no bathroom which meant trip downstairs to main level.
Overall good location and good experience. -

A mixed group of 9 of us stayed at Chalet Serac for a snowboarding trip and it was perfect. The bedrooms were all clean and comfortable, never a wait for the shower with 3 bathrooms, and the kitchen and dining area was excellent for civilised sit down group dinners. The chalet is also not surrounded by close neighbours so the occasional noisy bbq on the verandah wasn't an issue either. Rachel was wonderful and let us leave our baggage in the garage so we could go snowboarding the day we arrived which was great! Short walk (a little uphill) to the supermarket and town, in general a pretty good location. Many thanks again!
