Comfortable cottage close to the Univ of Idaho and downtown. The guesthouse has a very usable, well-equipped kitchen in which to cook meals. Candles throughout the house and the private setting create a nice retreat or romantic getaway.

We stayed at The Little Green Guesthouse while we were in town for our daughter's graduation from Washington State University. For the last 4 years, we have been staying in hotels/motels that were moderate at best. Because of the short supply of places to stay during a special event weekend for either WSU or Univ. of Idaho, I did a lot of searching on the internet and finally found this gem. The house has been fixed up/renovated to feel just like a little cottage on Cape Cod. Although cozy (there were 3 of us), it had plenty of room to move around. A pleasant bedroom with a queen size bed was very nice. The sofa in the living area made into a nice bed for our daughter. The kitchen was fully equipped with dishes, pots and pans, glass ware, mugs and everything else you would need. I was able to make a nice dinner in there one night. The proprietor, Sharon, also has coffee, a wide selection of teas, fresh orange juice, 1/2 and 1/2 waiting. The weather was so nice that we were able to sit on the front porch. What a quiet neighborhood. I was worried because the location is close to Hwys 95 and 8, but it was extremely quiet.
The proprietor, Sharon, was wonderful. Came over to greet us, process payment and answer any questions. However, she was unobtrusive but available during the weekend.
Our only downside to the place was that the fridge ran a lot and made funny alien sounds. Not a big deal, but was noticed.
As I said, we wish we would have found this place earlier in our daughter's college career, as we would have stayed here every time. I highly recommend The Little Green Guesthouse -

Two nights stay and we had a wonderful time. We were welcomed by the Innkeeper shortly after we arrived, and made to feel right at home. She reinforced our ability to contact her at any time for any reason. The home was wonderful, just right space for the two of us. I was familiar with Moscow and walking to supper and shopping was great! We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. We had a challenge with the hot water in the bathroom sink - it was never OK. Shower and kitchen hot water was good. Fridge and microwave were just right. Use the TV only a little - more interested in reading. We liked the home as a comfortable place to relax and enjoy - this was the best. The least liked was the challenge with the hot water in the bathroom sink. We would stay again, and hope to do so.

My husband and I stayed for a week in the Little Green Guesthouse while visiting family in Moscow. It was exactly what we wanted. The house is bigger than a motel room, which gave us more space to spread out. It has a fully-equipped kitchen, so we could easily eat meals there if we didn't feel like going out to eat. The kitchen was stocked with organic coffee (both regular and decaf) that we could brew fresh, a wide variety of teas, fresh half & half and orange juice. The bed was very comfortable and the house was clean. The owner, Sharon, is a perfect hostess - she kept in touch when needed without being instrusive and knows what amenities make the house warm and inviting. We loved the location. All in all, we had a great stay!

This little house was very comfortable for the 2 of us. It's location was great - in town, quiet neighborhood, easy access to anything. For parents visiting students in Moscow or Pullman I would suggest this house over a motel stay!!! There is no breakfast - but the great little kitchen is well stocked!
