PEACEful place, close to NATURE is a self catering accommodation, fully furnished with all the comforts of home. It's located in a peaceful neighbourhood of Mosfellsbaer, a small village in the outskirt of Reykjavík, with beautiful nature all around. There are only 15 minutes drive to the city center of Reykjavík.
All necessary service is nearby such as supermarkets, banks, a café and a bakery, a post office, two patrol stations, restaurants and souvenir shops to name a few.

Our apartment is in the outskirt of Reykjavik, in a small town called Mosfellsbaer. There is a 15 minutes drive from Mosf. to the city center of Reykjavik. Parking is in front of the house at no cost. A bus stop is in 5 minutes walk.
All necessary service is nearby, low price supermarkets, banks, fuel stations, a post-office, restaurants and a café and a bakery.
In town are two geothermal heated swimming pools, fitness centers, horse rentals, a birdwatching house and two nine hole golf courses.
Mosfellsbaer is the home area of our Nobel Prize Winner for Literature 1955, Halldór Laxness and his home Gljufrasteinn www.gljufrasteinn.is is now a museum.

We have stayed in Bara and Eric´s appartement for a week in august, and we liked it very much. We were four people: mum and dad and our two grown-up children at 18 and 21 years. The appartement was cosy and clean (and cheap :-)) and the surroundings were beautiful. Bara and Eric are very nice people and they made us feel very welcome. It was a wonderful holiday and Iceland was great! Maybe we will come back. Family Thorup from Danmark.

We stayed in Bara's and Eric's apartment this June and loved it. It was a very clean and cozy 1-bedroom unit with full kitchen and large bathroom. Very quiet and private, with a beautiful wood deck. Close to 2 large grocery stores. Nice neighborhood and short drive (15 mins) to Reykjavik. We appreciated black curtains on all windows to block out sun light during night time. Bara and Eric are very nice and warm hosts they tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We would not hesitate recommending this property to our friends.
