A collection of three gorgeous, renovated and refurbished ancient buildings and a small, but perfectly formed campsite. Nestled within the sleepy northern reaches of the Loire Valley, but just 22kms from the stunning chateau town of Saumur. Each gite offers accommodation at a price to suit your pocket and your situation. Two of the gites are disabled/wheelchair friendly, as well as being fantastic for families. If you have an extended family, or you're a group of friends wishing to holiday together, Le Chant d'Oiseau is the ideal location. Or, if you like to spend your holidays with camping friends, here you have the best of everything!

We camped here with our 3 young children (6,3,3) and wished we didn't have to come home. It's a lovely quiet spot, great little pool and great hosts in Stu & Syb. The children all made new friends and we were able to relax as the site is very small and completely enclosed.
The meal nights are a lovely idea. The pizzas are the best we have ever tasted (and we have been to Italy a few times!!)
The location is the best of both worlds - rural but situated within a close drive to lots of places in the Loire valley worth visiting - chateaux, vineyards, caves, the river!
We had a great time and would recommend it to anybody and everybody! -

Accueil des plus convivial, gîte magnifique avec coin de jardin privé. Les propriétaire se donne énormément de peine pour leurs clients. Le lieu est en pleine campagne, dans la forêt, les clients ainsi que les propriétaires sont tous anglais, mais nous n'avons rencontré aucun problème pour nous faire comprendre.Stu, parle bien le français. Stu et Syb, organisent tous les deux jours des repas en commun, vous pouvez vous inscrire ou non, ce sont des moments sympa, ou nous pouvons faire connaissance avec les personnes du camping. Aprèsavoir séjourné une semaine au Chant d'Oiseaux, nous ne pouvons que recommander cet endroit à toutes personnes qui recherchent la tranquillité et la convivialité.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The hosts Stu and Syb were fabulous - couldn't have asked for more. Chilled wine on arrival was lovely. The boys loved the chickens, the dogs, pizzas, climbing frame, freedom etc.
Gites are lovely, everything you need is there and if it isn't just ask and Stu will get it for you. As you can see we had a lovely time and are going back in august - can't wait! -

If you're looking for full relaxation, where your children are safe and all day, where you can make lots of new friends if you wish of just enjoy the lovely surroundings, go for walks or cycle rides in the nearby woods, where you can take trips out to nearby towns and do the tourist bit but just laze around the campsite and gite if you wish then this is the place for you. Travelling with a disabled spouse and 7 yr old son can be extremely stressful, but not here. The Bradleys have created a little piece of paradise and are generous enough to share it with their guests, they are truly the most wonderful hosts I have ever met, who cannot do enough to ensure everyone is happy,sometimes when the receiver does not deserve their efforts! They are fabulous people who deserve all the sucess in the world for what they have achieved at Le Chant.
