Description from the manager
This well maintained home, with knotty pine throughout, is located in a quiet area and has a lot to offer. There are two bedrooms and one bath on the main level; one room with a queen bed, and the other with a set of bunk beds. Upstairs is a room with a queen and adjacent bath, and in the recreation room on the lower level there is a full size futon, ping pong/pool table and darts. There is a canoe and rowboat, plus life preservers, for the guests to use at their own risk. House has great mountain views and is located in a section of the lake populated with loons. **Absolutely no pets allowed at property**.

By far the most comfortable and well equipped rental our family has ever enjoyed - the home lacked absolutely nothing. The owners clearly take enormous pride in their home and their love of the outdoors and lake living was evident - we felt right at home. We traveled with 3 teenagers and we all love to fish, so we rarely left the home. Between fishing, swimming and the game room, we literally had everything we needed. The most relaxing and enjoyable vacation ever. See you next year!

Our family has been traveling to Lake Winnipesaukee for over 35 years and this has been one of the better rentals we've seen from Preferred. It was very clean and well cared for at a perfect spot on the lake. We had two complaints however. First, the ad stated there was over 100 ft of sandy beach. The shorefront might be 100 ft total and the beach part was essentially non existent. There was a step down into the water from the grass, into the sandy bottom. The only other complaint was that the ancient gas grill had a bad burner and was only hot on the extreme outsides, making the grill unusable. We had to go out and buy a charcoal grill to use. Overall we gave it four stars because it was still a nice house and was still affordable. Some of the rentals are way overpriced, especially in this economy.
