There is one bedroom on the main level with a queen bed. There are two bedrooms upstairs; one with 1 queen bed and one twin and one with 2 twins. **There is a great Sandy beach by the dock area.

My husband and I and our two young children rented this house in august and we had a great time! The house was very clean, everything that you needed was there. The yard, the beach and our own dock was great. The location of the house was wonderful, 5 minutes to Dunkin's and 15 minutes to the grocery store! We meet Gene and Russ next door and they were wonderful to have there also. We enjoyed our nights sitting on the beach relaxing while the children were in bed. This was the first time we rented thru Preferred and they were great also.

We have been vacation renting this area for the last 5 summers. We have rented some nice homes but each has lost a point or two for one thing or another. Not this place. This home had everything we wanted. Absolutely perfectly clean. Great amenities. Dvd player, great flat screen TV, nice comfortable furniture, new washer/dryer, AC, The beach, the dock, the deck, screen porch, swimming, fishing, shopping, close to everything, peace and quiet. Me, my wife, our daughter, son-in-law, and two grandsons ages 8 and 11 had the time of our lives. We finally found the place that fits all of our needs. We will be renting here again.

This is our 2nd year 42 sticks n stones and this was even better than the first. Lots of Loon sightings and even got to see the Eagles in their nest!
Owners added aC to the upstairs bedrooms that were extremely appreciated because of the hot days we had. House was clean and comfy, well organized, and beautiful. Beds very comfortable. Deck was updated and furnished nicely and the beach and dock were great! Yard was beautifully landscaped and spacious enough for us to have plenty of wild wiffleball games. Free, easy-to-use WiFi was also much appreciated!
Small issue with ants, however, the owner was on top of it and engaged through out the week looking for feedback and working on the solution. She certainly seemed more concerned than I was. Not a big deal since it looks like the problem was trending in the right direction.
Kitchen was well furnished with appliances, but one suggestion would be to modernize some of the cookware, flatware and kitchen gadgets. The drawers are filled with a hodgepodge of things that probably aren't needed. Recommend larger colander, new steak knives, new tongs, cribbage board. -

We just returned from our week at 42 Sticks and Stones. The weather was fantastic, the neighbors were lovely and the Lake was just amazing. The house was roomy for our family of 6 and a friend. The views were spectacular and the sandy beach was a bonus. We rented a boat and truly experienced all that the Lake has to offer. We would return to this home Ina heartbeat!

This was our ninth year on the lake but our first time in this house. Unquestionably the best stay we've had yet! We felt right at home immediately. The house was clean, well organized, comfortable, and bursting with lake charm. The property was well maintained and lovely. We enjoyed swimming on our private beach. Although we paid a premium price, the value was certainly there in the experience. We will definitely come back!

Great spot for kids. Quiet setting but conveniently located. Nice sandy beach for our grandchildren. We found the lake bottom adjacent to the beach rather "mushy" in places and difficult to walk in. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would reccomend the property.
