Centrally located in Mt. Pleasant home of the best beaches in the Charleston area, Isle of Palms and Sullivan's Island Beaches. 5-6 minutes to the beach, 10 minutes to downtown charleston, 8 minutes to Patriots Point Naval Museum, Shem Creek restaurants and the shrimp fleet.
The City of Charleston is a peninsula. On one side is the Ashley River and the other side of the peninsula is the Cooper River. The new bridge crossing the Cooper River is shown in most of the Charleston tourist literature. Cross the Cooper River from Mt. Pleasant and you are on the Charleston peninsula. From this home it takes about 6-7 minutes to the Isle of Palms and about the same to reach the Ravenel Bridge to the Charleston Peninsula. The Charleston Peninsula is about a mile and a half wide, 3-1/2 miles long so nothing in the Charleston area is very far from anything else including this home.
