What Past Guests Are Saying
Stunning historic log cabin - Rustic with all the modern comfort
We rented both the Lodge and Creekside Cabins which are next to each other along the creek. Both buildings are beautiful and comfortable, but the Lodge was particularly amazing. The river rock fireplace alone was worth the stay. Two of our chef friends catered a dinner for the group and they commented on how well-stocked the kitchen was. I got some great photos of our dinner group from the overlooking balcony. We enjoyed the hot tubs, the comfortable beds and sitting in the breakfast nook. During the day we visited Mt. Rainier, just minutes away, took the kids on the easy snow hike by Longmire and walked around at the Paradise visitors center. The only thing we wished for was a sled! One of the best vacations ever, I hope we can come back next winter. I should also mention how great the folks are that run the lodge. They were very friendly and attentive. We didn't get to the restaurant but it is just around the corner from the lodge and serves pretty darn good food from what I hear.
