Relax in the hot tub at Lazy Bears Creekside Cabin and enjoy the sights and sounds of Big Creek as it rushes past. Lazy Bears Creekside Cabin was completely remodeled in 2008 and features beautiful woodworking throughout, a hand-crafted river rock fireplace, fully-equipped kitchen, and big comfy beds with high-quality linens.
Outside you'll find a 700 sq ft deck featuring a propane grill, an 8' hot tub just steps from the living room sliding glass door, and a large stone fire pit overlooking the creek.

Lazy Bears Creekside Cabin is conveniently located just a few miles from the entrance to Mount Rainier National Park.
There is plenty to do to fill your time during your stay! Some of our favorite activities include:
Mt. Rainier National Park: open year round for a variety of activities including snowshoeing, sledding, and cross-country skiing in the winter and hiking, sight-seeing, and mountain climbing in the summer. All four seasons offer extraordinary photography opportunities with or without the 14,000+ mountain as the backdrop.
NW Trek: another area favorite located about 30 minutes from Ashford. NW Trek is a 723-acre wildlife park that is home to more than 200 North American animals. Take the signature tram tour through the free-roaming area and spot moose, swan, bison, mountain goat, caribou, and more as they wander through forests, wetlands and meadows. Then stroll through the walking area to see the grizzlies, cats, and other forest and wetland critters. Considered by many to be the Pacific Northwest's finest zoo.
Mount Rainier Scenic Railroad: an authentic steam locomotive experience not to be missed! The train will take you on an excursion through the lush forest and river valleys of the Mt. Rainier area. MRSR offers a variety of open window and enclosed coaches pulled by vintage steam locomotives. A great Mount Rainier activity for all ages and levels of mobility.
Horseback Riding: EZ Times Guided Trail Rides in nearby Elbe offers a wonderful sightseeing experience.
Lakes: Mineral Lake and Alder Lake are both about 20 minutes from our cabins and offer fishing, swimming, and boating.
