Had a great weekend with a small group of friends planned and saved up for this place. Showed up all exciting and was amazed when i got there. it was stunning and completely private.
Saturday is when things got weird and terrible. The neighbors at the end of the drive way glared at some of us as we went to town and came back. then Sunday morning 2 sheriffs in 2 cars showed up. U go out to see what they want and the neighbors had called them saying there was a huge party with over 100 people at this address. it was terribly embarrassing as i had to escort to officers around to show them we where just sitting around playing cards. there where only 7 of us. I asked if there had been a noise complaint or if we were being too loud and the officer laughed and said no to both and the neighbors had specifically said they could not hear us. so i wasted over and hour talking to cops and being harassed by neighbors.
now the fun part we wake up and 3 of us have horrible stomach pains. we call 2 hours before checkout to let them know we will be late and no one answered we called 5 more times and left 2 messages letting them know we would be an hour late to finish packing up due to this and i would pay a late fee if needed. I then arrive to drop off the key where i am jumped on for being late even though we called and left messages. then accused me of being drunk and hungover from the night before and that's why we where late. she then tells me they know because the neighbors called and said they could here our music from the road. even though as i stated the officers said they told them the opposite... after she is done ranting at me and my sick girlfriend i then explain about the police and feeling harrassed by the neighbors and how they told the officers opposite what they told them. the only response i got was "it will be pretty obvious if you had a huge party when we clean. So we will see" i spent over 2 grand on this weekend and got nothing but insulted -

Left on 11/03/2012 for a stay in August 2012
Well - so I could not have asked for more out of a 2 day getaway. The darkness of the forest - the gushing river , the retro-style log cabin - the whole setting will do every bit to take you out of your grind. The cabin is large spacious and fun , especially because of the 70's style interiors. Being a particularly picky clean-freak myself - I did not enjoy the not-so-clean kitchen and bathrooms. But that could be just me. Coffee by the window in the dining area - overlooking the ravine - is breathtaking . It literally took my breath away. Barbecue-ing on the deck by the river was super refreshing. The nearest neighbors are at least a mile away.
Overall a thumbs up - apart from the fact that the place could use a bathroom-kitchen makeover. The cabin - with the squeaky doors , and the upstairs bedrooms could creep one out - but that's the whole point of being in the forest - isn't it ?

This was our group's second stay at Crystal Creek and we enjoyed it so much. It's a great house for a group. The house itself is well equipped and has such an awesome view. The grounds are amazing and provide for a nice long walk or just a short visit to the pond to feed the fish. After the nice long walk you can soak in the hot tub and then curl up with a good book or watch a movie! Mt Hood Rentals are great to deal with, as well. We will be back!

This house is amazing. Private, clean, plenty of room to spread out, and the property is loads of fun with trails, the pond and the river access. Nothing negative to say at all! The service from Mt. Hood Rentals was impeccable too. We were close to everything to do on Mt. Hood, but there was really no need to even leave the house. Exploring was a ton of fun. Very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!
