Oofoo's Barn is a delightful open-plan stone cottage, full of character. It has a large downstairs room with kitchen area, table and comfortable sitting space with wood-burner and TV. Upstairs is another large room with double bed, roll-top bath, shower, seating and screened toilet/basin. Spacious but cosy - ideal for a couple. The cottage is well-equipped and tastefully furnished. It has everything you need, including wifi and central heating. It has a sitting out place front and back for eating al fresco or enjoying the sun, and there is use of a large shared garden across the lane with BBQ and sitting area. Oofoo's Barn is on the edge of M...ullion village - a 5 minute walk to shops, cafes, pubs etc but bordering fields and close to the spectacular coastal path. It takes 10 minutes to walk down the valley to Polurrian Cove (no vehicular access), and there are sandy, rocky coves every mile or so all round the Lizard peninsula - at least 8 within 10 minutes driving. There are also plenty of activities - walking, cycling, riding, boat trips - and visits to country gardens (Lost Gardens of Helligan, Trebah, Glendurgan and many more) as well as the Eden Project, Minnack theatre, Flambards Leisure Park, Seal Sanctuary at Gweek, Goonhilly Earth Station, Poldark Mine, Lands End, St Michael's Mount and many other places of interest. You'll love Cornwall - and we think Oofoo's will touch your heart too. Our guests come over and over again.Read more

We stayed in Oofoos barn in November 2013 - ideal for a couple.
Before booking I asked for additional info/more photos and Gill (the property owner) was quick to respond and more than happy to oblige, answering any questions before we booked. It was nice to get this level of service prior to booking
as for the Holiday Home, It's a lovely barn conversion and it's clear that there is no expense spared. The facilities are great and a step above cottages in a similar price range. I think my personal favourite has to be the large free standing bath which is just what you need after a long costal walk!
The location is great, Mullion is a lovely little village, with plenty amenities, which does not close down during low season (like some places can). Plenty of places within walking distance, our personal favourite was a walk along the cost to Poldhu Beach, and easier enough to drive to other areas.
All in all, we had a fantastic holiday and would highly recommend the Barns at Mullion.
