Elegant Havana style refurbished two rooms (34 sq metres) quiet apartment in a freshly renovated historical building from 1911 in Bogenhausen, one of the fanciest areas of Munich. Capacity for up to 4 guests. A wide variety of restaurants, both german and international cuisine in the neighbourhood. Ideal accommodation both for tourists, relocation and business people. This apartments is located very centrally in Bogenhausen area. Some of the atractions in the area are the Prinzregententheater, the fine arts museums Villa Stuck and Haus der Kunst. The Deutsches Museum is not far away. The Isar river and the Englischer Garten with it's delightful walking ways is only in 15 minutes walking distance. The museums bus line will take you to the most importante museums of Munich (Alte Pinakothek, Neue Pinakothek, Pinakothek der Moderne, Glyptothek and Lenbachhaus). For a sunny smmingpool bath in summer or an ice skating in winter visit the Prinzregentenstadion, 100 meters away. Famous bavarian restaurants like the Hofbräukeller or even the Hofbräuhaus are reached within a few minutes. The Marienplatz with it's historical and shopping area are reached in 5 minutes. The Olimpic Center (Olimpiazentrum, Olimpiahalle) or the BMW Museum, are reached in less than 20 minutes. The Allianz Arena (Bayer München Stadium) is reached within 30 minutes.

We stayed in the New York theme appartment for two nights and it was located in a quiet neighbourhood with a few restaurants and amenities close at hand. Not far from public transport and only a few stops from the famous Marienplatz. The appartment is very clean, well equipped and comfortable. Alex the owner was extremely accommodating and texted to make sure all was okay when we arrived = a nice personal touch,
We would definitely try some of his other properties if we returned to Muncih and also would recommend to friends. -

This apartment is attractively decorated with comfortable beds. It is very near the metro station and we found a grocery store within 200 meters. It is in the basement.
It was quiet. We found free parking on the street within 200 meters.
Payment was easy via PayPal. I can highly recommend this place. The only room for improvement I could suggest would be a few more mixing bowls and cooking equipment. -

We have stayed at alex's apt., Miami, at least 10 times. actually, he has several apartments---the Prague, and the Princeregenten. we stayed in those too. the place is comfortable and perfectly located---esp. the Miami and Princeregenten. You are near everything (in this case, my son and his family live nearby, so it's perfect.) The place is semi underground---but there's definitely natural light. you have pretty much everything you need---kitchnette, great shower, large bed, tv (only station in english is CNN, but hey! whaddyou e xpect? this is Germany!) And alex is a very accomodating and friendly guy. he's Cuban, and a mathematician. not someone you meet every day. the price of around 70 E. plus a cleaning fee is a steal, by munich standards,

We loved this apartment. It was nice to be able to cook some for our extended stay in Germany. The neighborhood was lovely and the metro was only steps away. This was a great way to see Munich!

Great 2 bedroom apartment with easy access to attractions without being in the centre of noise and action. Superb location in a very safe and family-friendly neighbourhood with many inexpensive restaurants, green grocers, supermarket nearby...bakery right next door. Spacious master bedroom and bathroom. Decent sized second bedroom. Modest kitchen but good enough for most holiday renters. Excellent free wi-fi.

This was our third stay at the Havana apartment (there is a choice of three). Our older son and his wife and family live in central Munich, so we have been pleased to find a place to stay that offers more flexibility and space than staying in a hotel room but within a similar budget. Once again we found this to be a convenient and comfortable place to stay. Situated at the back of the building makes it private and peaceful. We particularly appreciate the central heating with thermostatically controlled radiators in each room which kept up comfort levels when the outside temperature dropped.
The kitchen with dining space is very well equipped. I have found the free broadband to be fast and reliable and accessible throughout the apartment. I noticed that a wall safe had been added since our previous stay in October 2010.
We made good use of the free city bikes, available by arrangement with alex. There is a segregated cycle path running just outside the apartment towards the centre of the city which is remarkably bike friendly.
The apartment is near an open air swimming pool (summer) which has an outside skating rink in the winter. Alex supplies a useful map indicating a good range of local facilities and services. Alex has been reliable and courteous in meeting us to handover the keys. He was also quick and helpful to respond to text messages or calls asking for advice or assistance.
At the time of this visit, there was scaffolding around the building to facilitating re-roofing (three floors up) but this did not cause us any inconvenience.
