This Munich vacation rental is in a building that dates back to 1865. The apartment was fully updated 10 years ago and renovated in 2006. It is located on the ground floor with a private entrance from the courtyard. This rental is in an excellent location right around the corner from the Sendlinger Tor transportation hub (subways, buses, and trams). You can easily travel throughout Munich. Munich's Glockenbachviertel is a lovely neighborhood in the center of town. It is full of restaurants, shops, galleries, boutiques and clubs and is an eclectic mix of retirees, singles and couples. For those of you with small children, be sure to visit the huge playground just down the road.

The apartment is looked after by our parents, retirees who keep everything lovingly in working order. If anything should go wrong during your stay, our family all lives in the neighborhood and we will address the issue immediately.
No availability for Oktoberfest 2012. Highest demand Summer, Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Year.

We've just returned from Munich and we've really enjoyed our holidays. The apartment is very handy and it has got everything you may need during your stay. The apartment is situated in a very quiet area but at the same time it is two steps away for the city center. There is an underground station,a grocery, a bakery, a supermarket and a pharmacy nearby.

We stayed here in Feb 2012 and it was perfect! It's just a few blocks off Sendlinger Tor, which is only one stop from the center of town (or a short walk). Having lived in Munich prior, we were delighted to find a place so central and affordable. Pat was great helping us coordinate (and helpful since my German isn't so great anymore!). We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for a week in December and loved it. It is a short distance to walk to Merionplatz and Sedlinger Tor Tram/Train station. The neighborhood is full of nice restaurants and there's a grocery store close by. The apartment itself is large, well furnished and the master bed is comfortable. WiFi works well. All in all, we had a great week!

This is a two room apartment that would do for two or three people. Since there were only two of us, we had loads of space to spread out. The location is about three or four blocks from Sedlinger Tor station for the tram or trains. Merionplatz is about a fifteen minute walk. The apartment is well kept and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the owner was very accommodating--got a few groceries for us because we arrived on Sunday and all the markets are closed. The owner also ordered a cab for us to get us to the main train station and even asked for one who spoke English! The neighborhood is great with two grocery stores right near by and many little restaurants for dinner.

This was our second time staying here and it so feels like home. The apartment is clean, bright and well stocked for all your household needs. The kitchen has everything for warming up things to cooking a full meal. The washing machine is a real blessing, you pack lighter so you have more room for all the wonderful items you found during your stay. The neighborhood is quiet and convenient, one block in any direction and you have groceries, food shops, bakeries, apothecary. Sendlinger Tor station is only a 5 minute walk and in winter the Christmas market is right there. When you come back from a busy day you feel like you just walked into your home away from home.
