Located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (Munising, MI). This beautiful cottage has a rustic feel with every modern convenience (even a dishwasher). The interior is very spacious with a cathedral ceiling in the main living area. The total square footage is approximately 950. It will sleep up to 10 guests and it is handicapped accessible. It has two bedrooms with 2 queen size beds each. There is also a deluxe futon sleeper in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook. Just bring the food! The new 2-bedroom cabin was fantastic and "made to order" for our group of four. The notty pine interior/exterior, rustic decor and fully stocked kitchen made it extremely comfortable and relaxing while we visited the Munising area. Everything was so fresh and clean.
I was in charge of arranging accommodations on our up trip for myself, cousin, brother and brother-in-law, and we needed two double beds in each room. It was extremely difficult to find those arrangements in a cabin for just one-night's lodging. It just happened to be available, and they suggesting it rather than 2 motel rooms. We also appreciated the lobby ice machine! Some up motels we stayed at didn't have one or charged for ice. The day we arrived, outdoor temps were so hot/humid, but we were able to enjoy a cold beverage on the cabin's front porch while feeling the gentle breeze from Lake Superior.
Hope to be back some day.
