Completely furnished non-smoking first-class atmosphere retreat which boasts a 440 acre spring fed lake is available for your next adventure. Our hide-away is located on Peninsula Point Road overlooking beautiful 16 Mile Lake and Angel Island. Our hide-away is a modern, clean, completely furnished 3 bedroom upper level home. The Kitchen has pots, pans, silverware, coffee maker, microwave, stove, fridge etc. The living room has a large couch, love seat, and recliners. The dinning room has an excellent view of 16 Mile Lake and Angel Island. We have satellite television with a 45" screen TV, a stereo, VCR and DVD for your enjoyment. T...he master bedroom has a queen size bed and a full bathroom, complete with shower and towels. One guest room consists of one full size bed, a full size bunk bed and an upper twin. The other guest room has two twin beds. A full bathroom is conveniently located between the guest rooms. The hide-away comfortably sleeps 8 adults and has forced air heat and central air. All linens and towels provided. Phone service is available for local calls. For long distance calls, phone cards will be needed.

There is a large deck with a great view of 16 Mile Lake. On the deck is a gas BBQ grill and ample lawn and lounge furniture. The deck provides an excellent view of the lake and surrounding area. The lower half of the house is also available for larger groups up to 12 people at a extra cost. The lower half provides an extra bedroom with king bed, bathroom, pool table, full bar, gas fireplace, 3 pull out sofa sleepers (full size), extra kitchen area, washer and dryer, huge living room, and a 65 inch tv.

The lake provides great swimming, fishing or just plain old relaxation. The hide-away comes with a 12 ft. boat, 14 ft. canoe and paddleboat. Life jackets and oars are provided. However, you may want to provide your children with their own life jackets for a better fit.

There is a fire pit by the lake and the firewood is supplied. Come and relax by the fire on 16 Mile Lake and listen to the sounds of the North, in God's Country. The lake is private with no public access and is real quiet.

The Upper Peninsula has some of the best winter recreation anywhere. Munising and Alger County has it all. Snowmobile from your front door. No need to try to beat town curfews, sled at your leisure from Angel Island View. By Mid-December our area has over 300 miles of well marked groomed snowmobile trails for your enjoyment. If cross country skiing is on your mind, were only minutes away from one of the best cross country ski trails in the Great Lakes Region.
