Wood floors and fully equipped kitchen. Dinning table for 6. On main floor is a Queen size bed and just steps from the full bathroom. Upstairs is the master suite with King size bed, TV, full size bathroom and balcony to sit and enjoy your favorite book! Booking the cabin was very easy and amanda (from Mccr) was great to work with.
The cabin is very roomy and seems to be brand new. Super clean! The furnishings are rather contemporary made with a lot of glass; I'm not sure I'd recommend to families with small children. Our teens thoroughly enjoyed the place as each of them had their own space and enjoyed taking turns staying in their own "apartment" downstairs.
The weekend was a little cool for us Floridians, and we did notice it's a little difficult to regulate the temperature (heat) throughout the house. The downstairs was noticeably cool while the master bedroom loft would get quite warm.
Beds were super comfortable (thank you!!!). Kitchen is stocked with plenty of pots/pans/dishes and utensils.
The view outside is very nice. Porches are on all 3 levels, with the wrap around porch on the main level. I wouldn't consider this cabin secluded as you can see other cabins in the distance, however it does feel very private. We enjoyed seeing deer and a fox on the backside of the property. We also enjoyed nice evenings by the fire pit.
The cabin is easy to access by a one lane (rarely traveled) paved road and a gravel driveway. The drive into town is convenient. We had fun at the flea market down the street and then a nice lunch at Shoebooties Cafe. Thanks to amanda for the recommendation!Response from Mountain Country Cabin Rentals - 01/13/2012
