You are going to love this Cabin. Named after our three boys, Mat, Adam and Lee, MATADLEE is our second home from Florida that we want you to share and enjoy as much as we do. Nestled in the Smokey Mountains, it has great long views from the living room and a screened deck which overlooks the woods and wildlife. Sit and watch the squirrels, birds, turkeys and the occasional Deer that pass through and dine in the evening while the sun sets spectacularly over the mountain. MATADLEE is located in the Springs Gated community which has paved roads and has a long gravel driveway.

The cabin is beautifully furnished with everything that you will need to enjoy your vacation. The main floor has the living and dining room with gas log fire, Satellite TV and DVD, a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom with queen bed, TV and DVD plus bathroom with tub and shower and walk in closet. The loft bedroom has a king bed, en-suite bathroom and walk in closet. It also has a TV and DVD player plus a Bose sound system that fills the whole home with your favorite music. The basement has TV and DVD, couches plus a ping pong table and dart board for your leisure, bathroom and bedroom with two full beds. You will not be disappointed.
Unfortunately to maintain the quality of our home smoking is strictly prohibited in the house and on the screened porch! We do not accept any pets, sorry. Other than that we have no rules except that you have a fantastic vacation. Internet is available at various locations in Murphy and Verizon Air Cards do work in the cabin.

The log home was beautifully kept and clean. That's a huge factor for us! It felt welcoming from the minute we walked in the door and provided plenty of entertainment opportunities for all. The proximity to grocery stores and to restaurants (for those who feel the need to stay out of the kitchen) makes it equally handy for all. It's a wonderful place to stay with a 'mixed bag' of folks - some who like nature, some who like to go see the sights, and some who just like a few days to laze around.
We will definitely be returning! -

About Matadlee Chalet, spacious, beautiful, cozy, elegantly built. If you have any outing plans, will be very hard to be accomplish that as the cabin is very beautiful that you don't want to step out of it :)
Go for it and make sure you stay long there unlike me :(

The Matadlee Chateau is most definitely a true hidden treasure!!! We arrived to an immaculately cleaned home, complete with a welcome gift and kind note. The home was beautifully decorated, and we felt like we were right at home. Our views of the Smokey Mountains were breath-taking, and our children had a wonderful time enjoying our giant yard and exploring the woods.
We enjoyed grilling out each night, and this house had everything we could have desired. The children loved ping pong and darts, and Daddy loved football on the big screen tv. :-)
It was a short trip to the Nantahala River, where we were able to play in the water and picnic. We will Definitly return very soon!!! -

My family and I stood at Matadlee for a week. This is the second year we have come here. I love the cabin, they thought of everything when decorating. The one and only thing we needed to do was go grocery shopping. Everything else was at our finger tips. I truly recommend anyone looking for a relaxing stress free vacation to check this out.

Excellent time, brought the whole family, co worker, and kids. House was very comfortable, and everybody had a great time, didn't even hear a car go by. Did all the stuff tourists do; white water rafting, boating, Turtle Back falls, and gem mining. Would recommend to anybody with a family who wants to get away from the hustle, and bustle of everyday life. Thank you.

Everything in this entire rental process was done with such ease, kindness, consideration and excellence. The cabin was so complete with everything and anything we needed to cook, stay in and enjoy the ping pong, checkers and watching movies. We also went for a hike, fished in the lake and simply enjoyed the beauty of being in the woods and mountains. Although we didn't do many activities away from the cabin, we did find a clean grocery store nearby and plenty of fast food places if you wanted. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We spent our first Christmas away from the most of our family this year. Although we really missed them and wished they were with us, we had a fantastic time. The Matadlee Chalet is absolutely gorgeous with all the comforts of home without having to bring them. It is well equipped all the way down to grilling utentsils. The cabin has 3 beautiful floors, each different, with the mountain theme in mind. Ping pong on the third floor and bathrooms on every floor. We totally love the fireplace and the warmth it brings. The owners and managers of this outstanding Chalet are to be commended on their immaculate cleaning skills! We will definitely be back! One of the best things about this cabin is that the whole family can enjoy entertainment without outside immoral influences. Thanks for sharing this beautiful home with so many people!

We have stayed with Beary Cozy several times and have not been disappointed yet. The views are spectacular. The chalets are very clean and luxurious yet warm and cozy. They are equipped with everything you need. The location is perfect. To the west into Tennessee go see the Ocoee rapids and the Cherokee National Forest. The Great Smokey Mountain day ride was amazing!!! The catfish in the pond are fun to catch (and release). Can't decide which chalet we like better. Each offers their own amazing features. Matadlee has a ping pong table that was alot of fun. Love the rockers on the screened in porch and decks. Nice for watching the wildlife and coffee. The owners and Greg and Paula both called to make sure everything was perfect. Very nice people.

We had such a wonderful time on this vacation! Matadlee was gorgeous, well maintained, comfortable, and plenty spacious for our family. Sitting on the screened-in porch as the sun went down, and listening to the nocturnals come out to play was very relaxing. And looking at all of those stars! Breathtaking! Location to other sights/activities is excellent, we saw and did more than we'd hoped for. I would highly reccommend Matadlee to friends and family. Thank you so much for allowing us such a lovely time away...I'm Certain that we'll return! Until then, peace and plenty to you and yours...

Matadlee was very clean and comfortable. It was nicely decorated and had wonderful mountain and forest views. It was very relaxing, and there was so much to do nearby (within 2 1/2 hours). We visited asheville, Mac Point Beach, Wagon Master Ranch, the Incline Railroad, and Ruby Falls cave. There's so much more we want to do next time we visit too. We'll definitely be back.
