An attractive, tastefully appointed apartment/maisonette with a good-sized private garden and terrace offering fabulous far-reaching panoramic views from the sitting room and main bedroom. We have satellite TV, internet and wifi access. A telephone is available for incoming calls.There is also a reception area by the swimming pool, a 2 minute walk away, where you can pick up an excellent wifi signal. We have two bedrooms and a large sofabed.(Easy access for elderly.)

Please note that maximum capacity is four adults with two children under 16 yrs.

Domaine du Lac is a stylish development built by Kaufman Broad about 10 years ago. The villas and maisonettes/apartments have been built in a Romesque style. We are literally on the doorstep of a fabulous 18 hole golfcourse open to all. People come from far and wide to play here. They have a most attractive clubhouse, pool and restaurant which is very highly recommended! The Domaine is accessed through security gates. We have a reception, swimming pool for both adults and children and a games area. We also have our own lake which attracts plenty of wildlife.There is a private parking area for you just outside the apartment. We are situated about 12 km outside Beziers. You will need a car! The area is popular with bikers and hikers with so much lovely countryside to see. Information on bicycle hire is available from the reception. Our Domaine attracts families and discerning single couples alike.

Sit on the terrace and soak in this amazing view. On a clear day you can see distant mountains with snow capped peaks, yet you are only a 20 minute drive away from your place on the beach.

We love the location because you are only 15 minutes away from the interesting, historical town of Beziers, 15 minutes from Agde (note the Roman road to get there) the oldest town in France. Originally a Greek port. The Phoenicians and Romans also left their mark. After only a 30 minutes drive you will find yourself in Pezenas,home also to 17th century playwright Molière, a fascinating town full of artists still today and plenty of antique shops.

Montpellier has to be one of the most fabulous major towns in France. Gorgeous architecture both old and new compliment each other side by side. Great shopping, chic restaurants and cafes. It is alive and buzzing. You will not forget your visit and it is only a 40 minute car journey away.

Set high up on a hill, Carcassonne’s ancient walled city is a fairytale collection of drawbridges, towers and atmospheric cobbled streets and it’s a must-see on any trip through this part of southern France. Its medieval core, the cité, was added to the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1997. If you are interested in Medieval history, read about the Cathars. This part of the world is so full of awesome history, you can feel it in the air, especially at Carcassonne- and there are many more Medieval hill-top clinging castles to see.

Feeling adventurous? You are only a 3 hour drive from Barcelona in Spain! Stop off at Narbonne en route. Built by decree from Rome in 118 BC as a trading post along the newly constructed Via Dolmitia, Narbonne grew to become the capital of the Roman province of Narbonensis and one of the most important cities in southern Gaul. A 4 hour drive in the other direction will take you to San Remo in Italy!

Or...just relax by our communal pool, enjoy the shade of the terrace and view from the garden, or have a round of golf. (Discount available for our guests) Many properties on the domaine are also occupied off season. Enjoy the heat of the summer sun or the warmth and clarity of the sunny winter days....perfect for golf lovers.

Ski Resorts of the Languedoc Pyrenees
There are seven sizeable ski resorts in the Languedoc section of the Pyrenees. Each Pyrenees ski resort offers runs, lifts, canons and facilities for cross-country skiing and snowboarding. All just a 2-3 hr car journey away.

Then there are the wonderful Languedoc vineyards to visit.......

We are a 15 minute drive from Beziers airport, 40 minutes from Montpellier and 50 minutes from Carcassonne. All airports are served by Ryanair or Easyjet.

Additional notes from owner

25% deposit to secure booking. Balance within 6 weeks of arrival. If booking is made with 6 weeks of stay, payment in full is required. Small pets welcomed. There is an additonal charge of £100 per week per pet. For stays less than 1 week, £50 per pet. (The garden is enclosed.)
The rent includes quality bedlinen and towels. PLEASE SUPPLY YOUR OWN BEACH TOWELS. Our clients have always been caring and thoughtful by leaving the property in a clean condition. If significant cleaning is required after your stay there is a charge of £50. This has not as yet been necessary to charge. An extra £10 per week for electricity charges for low season rentals.
