Our 4 night stay at the villa came after a busy 4 days of sightseeing in and around Muscat. This was the perfect place to unwind, our group of 6, included grandparents , parents, a teenager and 7 year old. The location of the villa is perfect just a 10 minute stroll or two minute drive to the Shangri-la Barr al Jissah. I would recommend hiring a car for ease of getting to and from the resort. Candice welcomed us at the villa and explained everything. Acccess to the resort was easy and we made full use of all their facilities. In fact it was hard to get the 7 year old out of the Lazy River. Great resort for children.
The villa gave us plenty of room and made a very welcome change from cramped hotel rooms. Everyone in the group had their own space. The villa was well equipped and the communal pool was right outside the door. Would definitely stay here next time we go to Muscat. -

I rented this villa based on past positive reviews and am happy to report that they were all true. Our whole family was able to stay and was a nice change from cramped hotel rooms. The villa is spacious and nicely decorated. We were happy to have a pool just outside our door as well as being able to go down to use the hotel facilities. The kids loved the splash park and kids pools at the hotels. Internet is available in the hotels and there is a bank machine in the Omani village as well as a few tourist shops and a children's play centre. There is a dive centre there as well. Every family member had a great time!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this well appointed villa. With no television we made the most of our time either using the (free) facilities at the nearby Shangri la hotels (a pleasant 10 minute walk) or relaxing and reading.
Probably not for families with very small children without a their own transport but highly recommended otherwise. -

This is a lovely, well appointed house with plenty of room. There is a pool outside the door but all the hotel facilities, which are excellent, beaches, pools, tennis courts, spa and restaurants are a short walk away. Would recommend hiring a car for trips out.

This is a great place, it combines the facilities of a hotel (you can use all the facilities at the Shangri La), with the absolute spaciousness of a villa. 5 bedrooms altogether. In my bedroom I could lay in bed while enjoying the view of the sea.
There is a shared swimming pool just outside the villa, and it was especially nice to have breakfast by the pool.
Both kids truly enjoyed the experience especially that they could practice their favorite sport (tennis) at the hotel courts.
If you are traveling with a family or a group I would really recommend this place as it offers real value.

This new luxury Town House is situated in the hills within the grounds of The Shangri-La Resort & Spa with access to four swimming pools, sports beach & more than ten restaurants. A large tiled terrace with winter sun and climate controlled pool & jacuzzi outside rear entrance. You do need a car but this was easily arranged by Candice who can also easily arrange other tours. Possibly the cleanest & safest country in the world and we are thinking of retiring there because of this, the friendly people and no requirement to speak anything but english.
