Villa Rhenia enjoys one of the most privileged positions in Mykonos with stunning uninterrupted views towards the ancient island of Delos and Rhenia. Situated south of the island, close to Town but also to most south beaches. These beaches are more sheltered than north side beaches. It is close to Ornos, a small village/beach area with several choices for food and drink, and a well organized food market with a butcher's shop, bakery, super market and a pharmacy. It is also close to beautiful, more secluded Agios Ioannis beach. Mykonos Town is a short 8 minutes drive away and several other southern beaches are at 10-15 minute drives from the v...illa. In particular: Ornos Beach is at 5 min. drives from the villa, Agios Ioannis (7 min) or a little further away Psarou & Platy Yialos beaches are at 10 minutes drives. Mykonos town is interesting, and pleasant both daytime or early evening when certain bars, as in the Little Venice area, are known for their lovely sunset and sea views; the town's many chapels & small labyrinth streets, its famous windmills, the local interest museums, as well as the multiple restaurants, cafés, and great shopping, make it a delight to visit. The swimming pool plays centre stage to an outdoor wood fire BBQ and large stone seating and dining area, all sunken into the ground to provide privacy and shelter from the refreshing Mykonian wind. The pool is surrounded by stylish teak deck chairs and comfortable patio seats. The main section of the villa features a well-equipped open-plan kitchen leading to a comfortable, attractive and sunny living room. A guest bedroom with bathroom is situated on the first floor and provides exceptional sea views. A sheltered terrace with pergola, large marble topped table and stone seating provides a spectacular sunset views.

A beautiful well lit white staircase leads down to a cool and spacious second living room, with access to the pool area and three main bedrooms leading off it. The master bedroom is spacious, simple in its design and has patio doors leading out to the pool area. A second bedroom enjoys fabulous views of the pool area and patio doors leading out to the garden. A third twin bedroom with attractive en-suite bathroom is found on the lower level of the house. An adjoining small studio, with own entrance, contains a twin en-suite bedroom; ideal youngsters or a nanny. This attractive villa ensures total calm and relaxation. It will delight all those who appreciate inventive simplicity and comfort.

  The most wonderful, relaxing, spoiling holiday ever.

  My husband doesn't relax, however, the minute he steps off the plane at Mykonos airport his shoulders start to drop. As soon as he has a chilled rose in his hand after a quick dip in the pool whilst looking at the ocean view with the sun beating down and the sea breeze blowing and a Greek salad on the table the metamorphosis is complete! Villa Les Soleil de Rhenia is perfect, a haven of tranquility to relax in private, close enough to the beaches and towns and restaurants yet far enough away to feel like you are the only people on the island. We have been going for 4 years and it is somewhere we hope to go back to again and again. Our perfect family holiday. There is even a Starbucks down the road, my idea of heaven!!!

  I have had the good fortune to holiday in Les Soleil de Rhenia for the past five years. It is without doubt my favourite place in the world and I have loved every time. Each summer, I take at least two weeks with my friends and family as the weather is amazing and the island is alive and vibrant. I thoroughly recommend this villa and I can't wait to go again.
