“Fab cottage” This excellent cottage is just 10 minutes walk from the beach and local shops. It is in a great location on the outskirts of the village with far reaching views and cattle and sheep in the surrounding fields a great location to strike out on foot or on bikes. It has plenty designated parking. Very quiet 24/7. It is well kitted out in a tasteful way with full size comfy beds. The owner was lovely so all in all I would totally recommend this cottage and would go back.

Great holiday

We stayed in this cottage in abersoch and found it to be very nice and welcoming with a lovely view of fields to the back. The cottage was clean and comfortable and quite spacious. We found that the kitchen had everything we needed and the location of the cottage was about 10/15 minutes walk from the abersoch village. We really enjoyed our stay here and hope to return sometime in the future! … see more

Lovely cosy cottage

Knowing Abersoch very well, I knew this was in the perfect spot. It's just a couple of minutes to the village but with lovely views of the harbour. The cottage is cosy, extremely well equipped and attractive inside. The only problem we had was that we couldn't light the fire properly and gave up but the heating was more than adequate. A very comfortable, well equipped cottage in a beautiful area

There were six of us, and the accommodation was more than adequate for our needs. Catherine was very welcoming and helpful. Our week was blessed with lovely sunny weather, and we were able to enjoy the lovely beaches in the area. The games room was enjoyed by the grandchildren. A lovely place to relax

The Stable Cottage on Castellmarch Farm is all and more than it's owner's description. The Cottage is very spacious,with large easy access bathrooms.It is comfy and cosy(having central heating as well as the fire) In addition to facilities mentioned there is also a cooker/hob/grill,toaster,freezer,tv/dvd, radio/cd,books board games and even a toy box.There is a sun umbrella for use on the patio and directly next door there is a utility room with washer,dryer,iron and board,leaflets about the area and an info board with phone numbers, barbeques and even wind breaks to use. Patio area can be made secure with a gate providing a safe area for small children or dog. Owner Helen was very cheerful,friendly and helpful. Nothing too much trouble. Llanbedrog beach is worth the short walk from the Oriel (gallery)-free entry- close to the same beach has a lovely view over the sea and a good Coffee shop. Access via a "hidden" road by the garage on the main road! Overall The Stable Cottage is a lovely peaceful place to relax, with well kept grounds (and I noticed a grassed area for children with a football goal!)and lovely views. The only thing we couldn't find was a hairdryer!! But we had our own and judging by the other amenities I bet Helen would provide one if you asked!! … see more

Weekend in abersoch

We really enjoyed our long weekend at Y Granar, near abersoch. The cottage was near perfect and the location beautiful. The weather was dull and wet but North Wales is not famous for sunshine! We were also unfortunate with surfing conditions so consoled ourselves with a hike in the foothills of Snowdonia which was stunning (apart from the driving rain!!!)The cottage, described on the website as luxurious, was sadly let down by: very noisy shower in the main bathroom; no loo paper apart from ends of rolls we presumed were left by previous tenants, and no handwash or cleansing products in the bathrooms.
