We had a wonderful time during our spring break in Myrtle Beach, SC. The property's location was great! It was only a few steps away from the beach. The property was clean and had everything we need. The heated pool was also a great alternative since the weather did not permit us to swim in the beach. Excellent choice!!

I've stayed at Shipwatch Pointe 7 times before and this was one of the best condos so far...I didn't like being in Shipwatch Point II though farther from the beach but id recommend it to anybody though.

The only issue we had was with the rental company, itself. The original unit we had rented was changed shortly after booking. We were told the owner was planning to use the unit. Then, the second unit was changed. Again, the owner was planning to use it. This time, we were not advised of this change when we picked up the key. We did not realize it until trying to enter the unit we had been told we had been switched to the first time. Yes, it was on the paperwork..but had not been advised of the second change. Very frustrating. As a current owner in Shipwatch Point II, I personally would not have a "renter" displaced after paying their deposit...not just once...but twice! Not good for my repeat rental business!!

My experience was wonderful with my family. A five minute or less walk to the beach. Location was convenient and close to shopping outlets, restaurants and entertainment. I liked the idea of the washer and dryer in the unit and made use of it. The kitchen
was perfect for breakfast with the family. I will definitely stay there again. -

Having stayed at the exact location for the past 2 years I/we knew what to expect. Would like a unit on the ground floor for the next year if possible ... 50 stairs becomes a little taxing over the week. Liked it better when I dealt with one group for golf and condo. I believe the green fees are a little over priced this year ... played 1 less GC and payed about the same as last year .. bigger break should be given for repeat customers .. may look at alternates next season. We usually stay at a resort but decided to do something different. The room was just as nice as the resort. The furnishing and decor were fairly modern. The balcony was MORE spatious and it was quiet(even with overlooking one of the pools). And without exageration,we only had a 3 minute walk to the beach. I can honestly say this was the most relaxing trip my family and I have taken there in several years!
