Filthy. Kithchen floor was sticky,Microwave was dirty, Batteries dead in remote control, peanuts and sunflower seeds on floors, hair in shower and floor in master bath, patio furniture rusted and moldy, handle on patio door came off first day. REALLY!!!!

My entire family was able to enjoy this rental for our Thanksgiving away from home. Everyone settled in quite nicely to the room of their choice. The loft worked out really great for the kids. The rental was conveniently located to all of the shopping malls and outlets. We also had the friendliest neighbors who were renting the unit next to us. I'd recommend this to anyone. Ironically, I had to convince my family to go then I had to literally beg them to leave.

Kingston Plantation, winderemere by the Sea...what a great place to stay. Located just behing the high rises, short walk to pools and the ocean. Quiet, gated community. lots of activities and ammenities. Great light fare at the snack shop, reasonably priced. Unit well maintained(4 BR condo). Felt like a beach house. Numerous gold courses minutes away ad close to Broadway at the beach. Cant wait to return next year!

This place and location was exactly what we expected. It was a fantastic view on the ocean only a couple of minutes from the beach. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay in Myrtle beach. This condo was extremely spacious and very clean. We had plent of linen for the entire week we were there. Yes I would recommend this condo for anyone looking for a place to stay for a vacation in Myrtle Beach!

Kingston Plantation is a great location between downtown Myrtle and North Myrtle Beach. The condo was very spacious and the loft was an extra bonus. Only downside is they wanted $10 a day to use the work out facility. No biggie we just got in walks on the great paths just outside of the grounds. We will be back and refer our friends..

Floors were VERY sticky, but it seems like maybe the wrong cleaner was used because it was not only in the kitchen but the baths as well.
Assumed it would be more "hotel-like" where towls and toilet paper are provided. Didn't know until after we booked (and collected money from all the girls) that sheets and towels would be extra and just happened to bring some extra TP. Yes, unlike hotels, rental companies usually provide a starter packs for their guests with a limited amount of toiletries. For 2012, linens have been added into the rental rate. I should have been leery when the website didn't provide actual photos of the interior of the condo - only a shot from the balcony. The property was very dated and shabbily appointed. It is definitely showing its age. Carpet was stained, the kitchen was not very well stocked (no coffee pot).
We were traveling with a group in a mini-bus (15 passenger) and were told we couldn't park on the property even though we had 3 parking passes. We had to off load and park the bus at an alternate location. Not the worst thing in the world, but annoying.
The check-in process was confusing and nowhere were we told about the check-out process. I had to contact the management office 3 times prior to arrival to get addresses to the property, and they couldn't provide me with a GPS address to the actual site.
The BIGGEST let down was the major leak in the upstairs bathroom. It was coming from the ceiling. We called maintenance, and they did respond quickly. We had maintenance men (4 in total) tracking in and out of the condo all day. As a result of the leak, we had to turn off the AC!!! Although the check-in form said the property had to be "released" by housekeeping before check-in, it was obvious that HK had not been in the property.
The management was unwilling to work with us on a late check out, forcing us to book a 2nd night's stay.

We apologize for the inconvenience that burdened you during your stay. All of the units on our program provide pictures of the interior of the property. Each property is styled in the private owners taste; we have brought your viewpoint to their attention. If any of our guests notice the unit was not cleaned properly, or is need of supplies, we ask that they simply call into the office so we can fix the problem as soon as possible. Regardless of parking passes, each property on our program is governed by it's own homeowners association. We ask guests to inform us if they are traveling by bus so arrangements can be made. Again, Myrtle Beach Vacation Rentals did not make this rule, but that particular association did. The check-in and checkout process are outlined in the rental agreement as well as the rules and regulations that each guest receives. If you visit our website all of our properties have longitude and latitude coordinates. At times, like any other condo, issues will arise. We're sorry about the toilet leak, this is a maintenance issue and not a housekeeping issue. We hope we fixed it in a timely manner. (Our maintenance department only has two employees) We believe your stay may have been more enjoyable had you read the rental agreement. Also, we would have been more than happy to answer any of your questions and address any of your problems. We do keep very high standards at Myrtle Beach vacation Rentals. At times, like any other company, we can fall short of theses. But we guarantee that we will make every effort to correct a problem our guest has. Customer satisfaction is our main priority. We're sorry we won't be seeing you again.
