This spacious and comfortable four-bedroom cottage has an open living-area concept with plenty of places to relax. Hello!
We have been staying on Shore Drive for over 20 years. We have stayed at Pelicans Watch and Pelicans landing, but as our family has grown we had need of a 4 bedrm. condo/house. We enjoyed our stay. The rental was very clean. Our check in process was wonderful. There were only a few things that were an issue. The first was we needed sheets for the pullout sofa bed. When it was pulled out, it was filthy. It was full of chips and candy and things like that. Also, We have never had to pay a $7.00 fee for extra sheets. (we have always used the realtor company by Krogers in the past and they do not charge extra fees for linens). We did not pay the fee. Instead we went to Walmart and bought sheets and brought them home, which was an inconvenience. The major issue was the comfort of the rental. The living room furniture was very uncomfortable and dated. Alot of it is wicker porch furniture. We had a full house and needed all the lounging space we could use. My 2 yr. old grandson hit his head twice, causing a severe bump on his forehead, while attempting to lay down on a pillow on the sofa. The sofa arm was hard and wood and it hurt him. The owners should possibly be notified that they need to update the living room area. there was no TV in one of the bedrooms, and in another of the bedrooms (not the master), the air conditoning would not come out. We called for maintenance but they never came. My daughter and her husband had to buy a box fan to get some relief from the heat in their room. We may consider staying in a different 4 bedroom home in the future, but we will not stay in this one again.
