I knew it was not a good sign when the rental company emailed our confirmation to a wrong email and then put the wrong name on the confirmation! The condo itself was not very nice! The toilet in the master bedroom was not secured to the floor, the master bed sits atop blocks of wood, burned out light bulbs, found 2 living cockroaches (even after the sign on the fridge says the place is treated for bugs), the pool behind our room was unbearable because of Mosquitos, and it needs ALOT of updating! But it was our sons first vacation and we'll cherish the memory! But thankfully that only being four months old he won't remember the bad experience! He'll hopefully remember the beach tho!!!

I was a little nervous about going to a populated beach like myrtle beach for a quiet family trip and my 5 yr olds first trip to the ocean.When i was emailed this listing it looked grea, a quiet community with greenspace. well it was better than expected!We didnt use all the amenities but the pools were great for the kids especially the inside pool. and the beach is a small stroll or you can catch a ride(great w/ kids)we will come back for sure its in a great location of myrtle also!

This was my second stay at the resort. The resort is awesome especially with three kids that love playing in the pool! The customer service is also great and very efficient. I was a little disappointed with this unit. It was spacious, but very outdated and kind of "falling apart". I will definitely come back again, but I will choose a different unit.

Let me begin by saying we were relatively happy based on what we paid. First the good: the price; the resort was very nice (pools, location, etc.); and the beach was awesome in this location! Now the bad: the condo's carpet is stained and appears dirty in multiple locations; we had a couple cockroaches run through (they call them something else in the south, but they're still cockroaches); everything is very dated (decor, fixtures, etc), and the beds and pillows were extremely hard and uncomfortable (even after busy days). With all that in mind...I would recommend staying at the Ocean Creek Resort, as we plan to do in the future, but Not stay at this particular condo.

I was told this property had an "ocean View". This property was about 4 blocks off the ocean & I could not see or hear the ocean. I didn't stay here, but found a different place to stay for my vacation. When I telephoned the rental company and left a message, no one ever returned my telephone call!!! I will only deal directly with a hotel from now on!!!

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was very nice. It just took a long time for the frig to get cold. We also asked if a blinder was in the room and was told yes. When we got there, there was a blinder but no top. Other than these two little things everything was perfect. We would go back. We had 2 familys,a 2 year old and a 13 year old. Both of them enjoyed there trip. The beach wasnt far at all. Loved the indoor pool also.

Overall, this was a good place to stay. The beds were a little uncomfortable and the place could use some updating. However, the price was right for what we got.
The kitchen had everything we needed, but NO cabinet space to store non-perishable food items.
We did find 2 cockroaches in the place. DISGUSTING TO SAY THE LEAST!
It was nice to be close to the beach, but wasn't expecting it to be so far from it. It was quite a hike.
The location itself was great though. Lots of restaurants and shopping within miles. -

We loved the resort and location and the fact that the beach was just a five minute walk. The specific unit/condo we rented was badly in need of an update and cleaning. The livingroom sofa was too uncomfortable to sit on and the queen mattress needs to be replaced.

Travelling with my wife and 17 yr old Grandson.
Great location-convenient to everything,
Very quiet when we were there (April 10th-15th 2012)-almost had pool to ourselves.Liked the fact that there were trees around pool. Didn't use indoor pool. Beach front area was great with convenient parking.
Only minor inconveninence was lack of kitchen cupboard space/larder for non-perishable food items. Plenty of cupboards but all were full with pots/pans etc.Unit overall was nicely furnished and clean with 2 screened balconies overlooking the pool. We wouldn't have any hesitation in returning or recommending to anyone looking for an affordable vacation in a great location with good amenities.
